I mostly liked the concept, but the mod didn't interest me that much.
I also didn't understand the mod that much because of how cryptic the narrative was ( it was a long time since I played it so I don't remember much).
Though the original didn't catch me that much, the remake interests me a lot more. I know graphics shouldn't matter that much but damn. I'm very impressed over how he made Source look so good! But what that tells me is also that there has gone a lot of effort and talent into the remake. So I'll most likely buy it and check it out.

To clear things up, not really. We will not redo the entire mod. We will first of move the maps over, freshen them up a little so that they actually work and look good in the new engine, then proceed with bug checking, and proceed mapping new things now that we have a much more stable engine to work with. This also means that even more test elements will be possible in the future.
No, apple left long before we even discussed moving to portal 2. He just left because he gave up. We are still discussing this move and it is leaning towards a move to p2. But that doesn't mean any compromises will arise during the time we wait for the official portal 2 sdk.
Looks amazingly interesting! I love the art style and the texturework and the modelling! Absolutely amazing! Though I would recommend you to make the doors stick out a bit more so that the players have an esier time finding exits. That was why in portal 1 most of the objects of interest in a level would be different, for example the doors were circular. Other than that, amazing! What do you use for modelling?

Whoa... I so wanna learn how to make grass like that... They are detail.vbsp right? Anyone know where I can learn how to put those in my maps like you guys did here. I really like tall thick grass. Most of the sprites I see used in hl2 and css are just flat and very spread out. Thanks in advance.
