Does it work with Blitzkrieg 2 1.6? I have the gog version and it's 1.6.
Auto worked, i appreciate the help, now i can enjoy the mod :)
I did it and it worked. But the texts in between missions and some letters from the menu are still not fully visible. The problem is in the left side of the screen. I changed resolutions and messed with my monitor's settings but it didn't work. Anyway, fullscreen is definitely better, so thanks.
It's working now but in windowed mode. I managed to make it big enough to be playable, but the texts in between missions are not fully visible.
The same goes for the menu when i press "escape". Note that i used the trick with the console keywords "fixed aspect" and "vid restart". Thanks for your help, i think i'll find a workraround to this problem,
These are the instructions in the txt. It doesn't mention anything about 4 ddls here and 3 there, so i am at a loss. Not to mention there are 5 x86 dlls, 2 renderers among them. You mentioned 4 that go in the root directory.
1) Copy z_realrtcw.pk3 into Main folder in your RTCW directory.
2) Copy x64 (or x86) executables and dlls into your RTCW directory. You don't need to backup anything.
3)Run ioWolfSP executable and enjoy the game!
I'll do it again from scratch, i deleted everything. I'll let you know very soon. Thanks. By the way, do you happen to know which dlls? I think when i unzipped the mod, the dlls were more than 7 total.
I have the gog version, it says 1.32 in the menus but the gog page says it's 1.41. Anyway, i copied the files of real rtcw 2.1 and i get the "vn create on ui failed" error. Then i start the game from the wolfsp.exe and not the iowolfsp.x86.exe and the mod loads. I can see the mod menu but when i choose a difficulty level i get this strange error "BG_Index x for string: unknown token 'tt33: (models/players/bj2/wolfanim.script, line 9)".
The uprising demo is also based on realrtcw and that can't load too. I don't know why this happens but it doesn't make sense. If anyone has any answer, it would be cool if i could get some help here.
Sometimes in the world of computers, strange things happen that hardly can be explained, i know.
The english version doesn't work though. The russian works but i don't know russian so i can't read the documents etc in game.
Thanks for your answer. Yes, i have read everything here in order to find a solution. I only got missing pak files. The strange thing is that when i updated to 1.33 and then to 1.41, inside the game it was showing 1.0.0. This was not a legal copy, i admit.
Now, i just bought the game from gog hoping it's the us version, (steam and gog versions are supposed to be the same) and i am trying again. The gog says it's 1.32. I go for the 1.33 and it says it's 1.33, the updtae is not necessary. I go for the 1.41 (although the gog page shows 1.41) and it still shows 1.32, i don't know why.
Update: I just installed the uprising demo, i clicked on the bat file and nothing happens. So, i bought the game for nothing. At least, the developers deserve it. But too bad i can't play your mod.
**** the third is the right thing to say nazi idiot.
Clicking on the bat file does nothing for me. Clicking on ioWolfSP.x86.exe gives an error that the sp_pak4.pk3 file is missing. I found it on the net, i put it in the main folder but still no luck.
I had the vanilla version, i updated to 1.33, then to 1.41 and then i copied this demo files as suggested. I applied the 1.41 again because it was asking but to no avail.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you. Now i just got to find the 1.41 patch of iortcw.
The GOG version works, right? I don't like steam.
I like this.
Without a save system this game is a pain in the ***. Fortunately, there are cheats.
Vikom's work on Past Attacks was good, although some levels weren't loading and the story wasn't clear enough. Hopefully, this mod/map will not have problems. Keep up the good work!
Delete this ****.
I get a "cryengine error cookie error" when i load my last saved game. Something is wrong.
No episode 2?
Disgusting guys in suits rule big game companies now, that's why we get simple, crappy games. But this "paid mods" thing is going beyond lack of respect to people that made Bethesda what it is today.
There are good mods and bad mods, sure. But even discussing paying for a mod is not right. I don't know why some people pay for mods, they are ignorant. If you pay, it's not a mod anymore.
Mods were always free, you got it all wrong. They are mods, not games, modders do it for free for the community, it was always like this and even discussing paying for mods is disgusting at least.
The third reich would lose again and again, as it is fair, it was an abomination.
I don't believe Chrome is a difficult game, i enjoyed it when i played it. Soon, i will continue with Specforce.
I tried playing via gameranger with a friend once but we encountered problems, freezes etc. It wasn't the internet connection. Hopefully, online works for some players.
