No problem! Once I figured it out, it was great fun. Looking forward to the next build!

Fun game, though a little confusing at first. Could use some more detailed instructions.

Not sure where to put bug reports, but if you end a game with something on fire, return to main menu, and start a new game, the fire will still be there(and on the menu), though it doesn't seem to damage anything.

Awesome! Can't wait for the next Dev Log! Especially the next build. From what you've shown so far, I'm itching to try it. Good Luck!

Okay, last question, seriously(I hope). Can you make a video of the new build once you feel there's enough to show off? I'm itching to see the new graphics, UI, etc. in action.

One more thing. I KNOW I ask this before and you already gave me an answer, but I forgot. My bad. Anyway, will previous buyers be getting a steam key?

Congrats on the Greenlight! Are you going to wait until the new build is ready before putting it on steam?

Yeah, I prefer keyboard to for basic navigation. After playing Claustrophobia, DCSS, and ToME, I like using the mouse now for long distance traveling, or using a button to select a position on the map to travel too.

Latest update is great! The balance change was GREATLY needed, and solved my only real gripe with an otherwise amazing game. Not spawning next to orcs and other strong humanoids 10 games in a row(seriously) on a regular basis is great.

The only other thing, which is more of a 'play-style opinion(?)', is the scroll system. I find needing a skill to use them horrible. Unless I'm going for a spell casting character, which I personally don't do often, there's no point in getting the skill since I could just use it on other skills that will guarantee(mostly) better survival chances. Same with wands by proxy, and I'm not sure why my reading ability should affect wand usage. :p Maybe an in-game lore explanation?

Spellcasting is another minor gripe. You need 2 skill points, or until around level 6 at least, until you can think about using spells. Then you have to find and identify a spell worth using. It's not useful at all until mid-late to late game, where those utility spells come in real handy.

It's also a pain in the *** to get the Leather Armor and Sword/Board Heritages, but I guess that's more my skill level than anything else. Granted, they're not really necessary now with the early game balancing, but it'd be nice to have it. I think it would be great for some of the starting gear options to become select-able from the very beginning, but have trade offs like "Sword and Shield at the cost of 1 stat point" or something along those lines.

Great update again, and I look forward to future updates!

The new art style is incredible! I'm loving it!

I prefer Left-Click for 'moving', like character movement, moving items around the inventory, navigating menus, allocating skill/stat points and the like. For Right-Click, I'd prefer 'interaction', like opening/closing doors, talking to NPC's, buying items, using items in the inventory, picking up items, etc.. Makes it harder to mis-click.

I can't remember if I brought it up already, so sorry if I did, but for whatever action you bind to Left Shift, can you make it rebindable to another key? My Left Shift has completely broken by this point, and rebinding would be great. :D

Played the demo, all the enemies I encountered seemed extremely accurate, the only shots they missed were the ones I happen to jump at the same time the shot. Is this just bad luck on my part?

Still, other than that, it's a fun game, though I think I like 3079 better. I'll definitely pick this up next time I have money.

Sounds awesome! Can you make the compare button re-bind-able? My left shift is broken... again.

New dungeon generation feels more 'roguelike-ish' to me. The previous 'endless maze' type generation was getting old quick. I still think there should be an 'occasional' level like that, but I have no idea how hard/easy that would be with you re-doing the code. I won't be missing it. :p

So, what are you going to do with the previous version? Just leave it up for buyers? Maybe you can do it like Desktop Dungeons and offer it as a free prototype.

Just as a note to any that reads this, the Nano HUD UI can be used with Arsenal Overhaul for those that want it. Just open up the AtmoFear 3 zip, go into the data folder, and copy the files inside the nano_hud folder into the gamedata folder in Call of Pripyats install directory(assuming you have Arsenal Overhaul installed already). There's no need to back up the config and texture folders unless you want to switch back later. I do suggest backing it up though. Just because I haven't seen any conflicts yet, doesn't mean they're not there.

Quoting Winged Pixel: "Weird, I'll keep an eye open for the player selection being off entering dungeons.
Thanks for the report"

About your reply below. Sorry for the late reply, I wish Desura/IndieDB/etc. would alert us when we receive a comment reply. The player selection is working fine. It's kinda hard to explain. When I select a party on the world map and entered it's 'part options', it automatically selects the first person like it should, like you intended it too. But when I entered the dungeon, it automatically selected the first person too, which it had never done before.

It wasn't a huge inconvenience. All I had to do was de-select him like normally. Nothing else went wrong at all. It actually hasn't happened since then too.

EDIT: Whoops, I think I misinterpreted "being off" in you're reply. Well, if nothing else, this comment could be considered "extra detail". :p

It stopped doing it. When I turned off the game, and recently turned it back on, it stopped doing it.

Haha, found a 'bug'. You know the feature you added where the first party member is selected when you select a group on the world map? It does the same thing when you enter a dungeon. Not hugely inconvient, though it confused me a few times when I entered a dungeon and wondered why I couldn't move. :p

I like the new gamma option btw. :D

In the 7.8 update, on the world map, the WASD keys will no longer scroll the map, even if bounded to do so. Only the arrow keys will work, and map scrolling is not as smooth as it was in previous updates.

On the plus side, v7.7 fixed the patching issue.

What happens when a town is attacked, and what happens if you let it be attacked too long? I've never really let it be attacked that long before.

It supposedly downloaded the patch. Normally after that it closes the game and installs the patch, but it just closed the game, and didn't install the patch. It didn't restart the game either, but I can't remember if it did that to begin with.

I do have it installed now though, in case you didn't see my other comments. Great patch!

The difficulties are a very nice touch, and I'm enjoying them all so far, though I've only really played Normal and below the most so far. The bonus cash saves some time too.

The colored text is really sweet too, adds a little bit of flavor to combat, even if it's just cosmetically.

The dismiss hero function is a nice addition too, especially people who like to tidy up their parties and base.

This was a really nice update. Actually, all around, I was surprised by this game in general. I got the Indiefort bundle for Tales of Maj'Eyal, and decided to just give this game a shot. I ended up loving this game. :D

Well, I managed to download it manually, like we used to download it while the patcher was broken.

My first question still stands, and I'll let ya know what I think of the patch once I play it more. :D

Yo, saw the blog post about the v7.6 update. I loaded up the game, and started the patcher. Download takes longer than normal, but I'm assuming the server is being worked hard. But once it's done, and I click install update, it just close to the desktop like normal to install, but doesn't actually install it. It seems like the patcher isn't working again. It did work for the v7.4 and v7.5 updates though.

Other than that, I'm excited for this update. While I do like challenges, sometimes I'd like to sit back and steamroll everything in my way. The difficulty selection is a nice touch. I'll probably comment again once I can get the patch installed and tell ya what I think.

Also, is it possible to create new bases? On the left side where the statue thing you use to enter town, it looks like there's supposed to be more. Is that true?

Woo, just tried out the multi-party dungeons today. That's a pretty cool feature. Having lot's of fun with that. What kinda stuff do you have planned(and willing to share) for the world map and town? Like, more buildings, more bases, stuff like that?

Also, do you have something like a road map somewhere so I don't have to bug you whenever I'm curious? :p
