The demo itself was rather short and unlike some people here, I rather liked the musical touches in the mod as well as the puzzles.
While there wasn't any explanation for what I was doing in the mod, I liked the atmosphere and the level design was intricately detailed.
It is unlikely that the whole mod will be released, but the demo is not bad at all :)

Not exactly anything groundbreaking, but it's nice to play a simple puzzle and jumping mod now and then :)

During the early months and years after the release of Max Payne, a plethora of mods have been unleashed, many of them break the balance of the game and some outright ruin the experience.
This is one of the few mods that retain the balance and feel of Max Payne without throwing the atmosphere and pacing out the damn window.
If you want a mod to play through Max Payne again, then choose Ammo, it's amongst the best tweaking mods out there :)

A great way to extend a classic and an excellent job from top to bottom.
Play this if you want a true blast from the past :D

There is very little here, in fact, there is barely any gameplay involved.
Much of the mod is spent watching scripted events, which wouldn't have been so bad if the mod had more intuitive ways of "Accidentally" killing your targets.
Only give this a try if you truly are a die hard fan of experimental mods.

Odd level design and riddled with mapping bugs, TAB is still playable.
However, it is filled with instant death-traps and uneven difficulty. It's not perfect and a far cry from greater mods, but those looking to use the SHL weapons again should look no further.

I couldn't figure anything out.
What was I supposed to do? Where was I supposed to go?
Where do I find the weapons? What the hell is up with the pacing and level layout? It's practically a maze!
Don't bother, this made me look at HL-Boom with new respect D:
Mod Review on Nov 29th, 2012
Buggy, unbalanced and littered with seemingly pointless levels, weapons and files (Some of which aren't even used).
The mod should have been beta tested before release, and perhaps should have spent another year or two in development.
As it stands, it's very boring and bland compared to other half-life mods.

I remember playing this a long time ago, and it certainly hasn't aged very well.
The level design was simple, yet the pacing and enemy placement was hideous. Most of the time your facing over a dozen grunts who rip you to shreds as soon as you step into a room, making the mod unbearably difficult even on easy settings.
The mod has some potential but besides the interesting perspective of a black ops soldier, there isn't much for me to recommend upon finishing it.
It's meh, and if you can manage to beat the mod on hard, you deserve some sort of medal D:
