My name, as one might guess is Kriss and at the moment I am 17 years old. Quite passionate for all things visual, and if digital - even more! Been using Blender for 2 years now, learning something new every two days. I'm also into poster design (via Inkscape and Photoshop) and a bit of street-art (via posters) as well.. :P Don't be a stranger..
I made for my literature homework we had to interpret (dance, draw, sing, video) a poem of our choice by a quite depressive yet good writer E.Veidenbaums
Anyway since I'm such a slacker when it comes to homeworks I got to know about the homework late in the evening the night before we have to present them.
So I quickly sketched it in my scrapbook and started to work..
I just wonder what mark will I get, hopefully a good one, I and one other dude were the only ones to present since nobody else made it (that was quite unexpected @_@ ) but the class went "ouhh.." - that was rather nice.. :3
I wanted to add a "Death" (like The Lich from AT) but I clearly didnt have time for that (Thats why there might be some glitches/sloppy stuff)..
--Take a look in HD and leave some crits -> you're awesome..
The core idea/the poem was about his life slipping slowly away and that finally he can get away from this COLD and ICY reality and go to the blooming/awesome life afterwards...
The grave should be further.
Yeah, I agree.. A death character was meant to be behind the grave, but due to lack of time I couldnt make one.. Dunno why didnt I move it back though.. -_-
Thanks! :)
I really like it, the style is fantastic!
And - after reading your description :P - it really fits to the peom!
And how long did you work on that? o_O
Thanks! Well I found out about the homework late in the evening and went to sleep at about 2 AM, Must be 3 hours + 30 minutes render and some basic post-pro :)
