Crush, Kill, Destroy
ETA on 2.5? :D
Was going to download the latest one, but I figured 2.5 would be close to coming out, might as well wait for the latest release now that I'm on a brand new desktop.
If you'd like to pay money for this, why not purchase the OST to support them?
Oh, just to everyone else that may stumble across this snapshot update, this one is slightly out-of-date. Version 'b' was released, the one posted here is Version 'a'.
Get the latest one over at the Minecraft Wiki.
You obviously need to get out more.
Just redeemed my Steam Key from Desura. Haven't played the latest one yet, waiting until its late at night. ^-^
I'm not THAT active on the forums and what not here on ModDB. :P
My goodness, anyone else having problems with "Stealth"? I forget what level I'm on, but its right after you gain access through the quarantined lab. I sneak through a vent and peek down a hall just barely to look into the main area where guards are talking/circling the place. A guy on the balcony turns around, then when I crouch another step to the side to sneak past, he instantly turns a 180 and starts firing on me when the alarm going off. I'm in a decently dark area, and I'm far from him, PLUS he's wearing a mask.
Now when I think about it, I should double-check to see if my laser sight is still on, but still. ._.
Dat headbanging. Being able to headbang opponents to death would be pretty metal.
Still replaying through the prologue, I manned up as best as I could and got a little bit of the house done. I do have one question, did you get rid of peeking/leaning?
Glad I got the OST, now I can spend the time downloading it since I work today anyways, then I'll have all the free time playing it tomorrow!
Hey, no thank YOU!
You've made an awesome soundtrack that I can't wait to hear in-game, that really creates a powerful immersion to the story and world of UnderHell.
Listening to the OST, I'll be particularly excited to play out the songs that appear to be for intense fight scenes. :D
Just bought a copy myself. I liked the little bonus pictures that they've included.
Well an unfriendly NPC taking a walk in my house is going to scare me. I'll walk into a room and probably get my head blown off since he's tucked into a corner. D:
But with Roh's comment, will there be different.. "styles" of movement for every NPC? Like the one shown would be really careful, and while other NPC's would just kinda walk in or be aggressive smashing in windows, etc.?
I'm actually already getting scared of how the dead wife is going to be on the new engine in the house... ;-;
Because GTA V was totally related to two horror games.
I'm screamed in excitement so much that I'm going numb. Please help me, I don't want to die before I get my hands on the epic continuation of this series!
Suits very well with the typography!
NPC's being put into the Meta-Game is really exciting. Especially the Story Mode characters. I love how it ends with getting the pillow. Old PZ'ers know what that does...
Well you have my support, the mappers have great skills! Any chance of a little showcase video when the Bunker map is complete?
Great mod. Insanely hard. I like the direction that its going, but I hope there's some serious patching soon.
The damage system seems insanely derped, and the AI gets pretty insane. I took the first mission from Owl where you scout out that Mercenary Camp, crouching the entire time, the second I pop my head by the wall, suddenly the ENTIRE camp knows I'm there. I had to fall back but get stranded on a rock because two snorks were trying to eat my face, by the time I look back and use up almost all my ammo just trying to drop at least one snork, I count at least 8-13 mercenaries slowly walking towards me. I end up running for my life, but only end up getting tackled by a snork down the road.
On another attempt, I found another way in. Whole base wasn't alerted right away this time. But I creep up on a guy (I'm using a switchblade which says it can penetrate armor) and I go for a backstab. He's only stunned. So I shank him for another 50 times, circling him, until finally I guess his groans of pain alert his buddies and they come in and blow my face off. But if I remember right, Vanilla CoP, backstabs were almost always a guaranteed instant kill. Even point-blank headshots don't appear to be effective with some armored targets.
Also, the pricing on things. Everything is insanely expensive. Repair kits? They're just about as expensive as buying a new gun entirely. Repairing your weapon? That could probably get you two guns!
But anyways, I enjoy the combat regardless of the TANKY-NESS of some Stalkers. Hunting is fun. The animations here and there are great. Overall, this mod is worth a try for those players that enjoy a painful challenge.
Very excited for the coming NPC updates!
Just a few more days! I can't wait!
I wonder where it goes... :o
I'm very excited to play this, hopefully I get my new computer built up by the time this releases.
Already loving the death messages.
The Zombie Horde waits for no one.
Seeing an update made me spill tears of joy.
I'm also quite proud of this decision regarding a higher difficulty, by not making the AI freaking tanks while you're a pathetic little meat bag that can't even kill someone with a point blank headshot in one hit. ._.
Just recently replayed this game after not playing it for a year.
The House STILL gives me good scares, and I even experienced some new stuff I haven't before. Before I go to bed, I'm going to play this every night, and do whatever happens. (Catch the piano playing, answer phone calls, etc.)
Still constantly checking my news for an update on Chapter 1, and been getting more of my friends to play this. Amazing single-player, and the little touches throughout the house are great.
Hope to see a new part of the story really soon! I'll probably end up doing things in the house first. xD
Started the game a few days ago, and started hosting my own server just yesterday. This is great! To any Garry's Mod Space Build fans, you'll definitely love this, and I can see this project heading in a great direction.
Basing off of my Multi-Player experience, combat is fun, cute little economy system, working with other players to take down Pirate Space Stations with the help of the Trader's Guild is just a blast.
The array of weapons is just in the Alpha so far is awesome, and I just really enjoy the whole game so far.
Thank you schema and your team! Keep up the great work!
Got it all installed, just a matter of getting time to play! :P
