Public Relations Manager for the Shattered Lands mod for Men of War.
Unfortunately, gifs only work as avatars on this site if they are 50x50.
Are you installing the mod from a temp folder...? You shouldn't do that, but I don't specifically know what the issue is.
Mod is dead.
We clearly stated multiple times there would be no MP. This mod has been dropped, we are only releasing the content that was created up to now, not any MP structure.
I don't know about errors, they might be based on nationality or something else.
There are many versions of the G36... I don't remember specifically, but I'm pretty sure the one ingame is the G36C
El mod es por el editor solo.
You've spoken nothing but **** since you came, so do us all a favor and **** off. Your welcome for the free content that came at no expense to yourself.
We were planning to scrap skirmish and replace it with something else. These files are exclusively for the editor.
You're right! We only spent several months beating back IP rippers to then steal content ourselves! Man we are so clever!
Did you notice how that doesn't make any sense?
Holy **** calm your panties. We're all human beings who have other needs than providing you with your video game fix. Be patient, and stop spamming comments.
Seriously, why do people think that posting every 20 minutes make the upload any faster?
"maybe i comment moar i get downlodes!!!!!"
No. You don't. You're representing everything that is to be despised about the MoW modding community.
If you want to say something, leave one concise comment, and leave it at that. Commenting every single day gets nobody nowhere, besides being irritating.
Sol is on top of things and will get them done soon. But being greedy and annoying definitely doesn't motivate him to get it done any faster, so please demonstrate even a meager amount of patience.
Well I haven't chimed in for awhile, but I'm still hanging around.
Spamming comments asking when it'll be fixed will not magically fix the issue. Please just calm down, wait a bit, and you'll get the mod.
Hope you guys enjoy it.
I'd say props? Aircraft always look good on the ground as well as in the air.
Features is outdated. As of right now there are no planned special units, we are focusing on getting the factions themselves done.
That is the primary game mode in the mod. All SP will come after MP.
Yes, it will be serving as the CEC heavy MBT, one of the hardest hitting vehicles they can deploy.
It seems like there's a new update for this mod every single time I check moddb.
You're a god Set, how the hell do you do it?
I was making a comparison. The Humvee is not amphibious. (But it also has it's variants)
The Dingo has armor, the Vodnik is more similar to a Humvee that is amphibious.
Russian lists have not been finalized, but we are not planning on adding this.
What other page?
And I'm posting this again....
"As he said, and as I've answered probably 4 or 5 times: No. there will be no helicopters. They look and act wonky in the GEM engine, but they might have a future as props. "
There is no MG3 in the mod, and that would require modelling a new mount for it as well, so no.
This is primarily to be used as an engineering truck, but it will be armed with the same M2HB CROWS system that is on all CEC vehicles.
That release date was for an open beta. We can't have an open beta without multiplayer, or any kind of ingame (non-editor) gameplay whatsoever.
Because we are planning on a release still. We didn't make 2 deadlines, that doesn't mean we are dead.
As of now there are 3 rocket launchers in the game: the Panzerfaust 3 (low power), Carl Gustav (Medium Power), and the ERYX (high power, will kill just about everything).
This makes the ERYX the CECs best launcher, and a counter to the Javelin. Please note that we do not have special code written for any kind of launch procedure (top attacking, locking, etc.).
Russian and PLA weapon lists have no been finalized.
With school back again nobody has time to work on anything anymore. Slowly making progress.
Definitely won't be making October 1st.
It's more of a modern/future blend. We throw in units we predict would still be used, while giving the future aspect so that we can tweak certain fictional aspects to our liking (the most recent case being the cluster rounds fired from chainguns, those don't exist as of today).
It allows a good historical base while also allowing some creative freedom, and it also frees up being constantly criticized for accidentally screwing some part of a historical unit's stats.
I'll go ahead assuming that you meant as stationary systems?
Those systems are all out of date technologically. While you might see these mounted on vehicles (ie a TOW on a Bradley) you will not see these as stationary units. The main reason is that there are man portable units which are much more effective (The TOW was replaced by the Javelin in the US, and it doesn't require wire guidance etc.)
Everything is subject to change, but as of now that's what the plan is.
There will be a singleplayer campaign to be added later, and co-op might be included. I believe that according to current plans, skirmish is being cut for something a little more realistic, but I can't describe in depth what that is.
