I would say there are 10 to 12 regular players, though you will not find players everyday. Week end game session provides higher player counts.
Hi, I've got the source SDK 2007 and GES v4.2 installed but I got a mountfilesystem (213) failed during the menu loading, what can I do ?
I think footsteps are already loud enough, it plays a big part in the game.
I agree on the mapping quality, in 3 years watching Crydev production I think Fabiolo is among the 3 best level designers I've ever seen

Yeah it's a lot of work, but Monolith made the engine and most of the textures and assets. Sadobash is focused on level design and making a few more textures and assets "only". Obviously looking forward to the next interval(s) release !

There is no time limitation for the CW free trial as far as I know.

If I understand correctly, the next release should contain the "snow" map re-worked and the Crytek "island" level ? Any idea of when you expect to release this ?

Hey sadobash ! To put my review in a nutshell, i would advise you to:
1 - Improve performance
2 - Implement a better weapon rotation : F.E.A.R. and Extraction Point did this using an appropriate level design AND smart weapon+ammo VS ennemy placement. I watched your walkthrough, your weapon is 95 % of time the assault rifle: might be better to provide a larger variety of weapon
3 - Read this article Clement-melendez.com related to F.E.A.R. 2 level design that may be helpfull. Your non-linearity sections are pretty good IMO but during their first play many people will get lost currently
Played the demo back in days and remember both quality and drawback of the experience, but it definitely has potential. Burst it and we'll get a good mod :)
I liked the chapters released so far. Don't compete with stocks level, but some parts are very enjoyable. Looking forward to the next intervals released. Try to improve performances !

I played IT06, it was quite good but i enjoyed more your IT1&2. I think you should try to introduce more different weapons/ennemis, and build your levels so that we have to switch between all of them, using ammo placement and level design.
How are things going for your next ITs ? I watched IT07 video, looks pretty cool ; keep it up !
