Description

The design that catapulted FutureTech Aeronautics into success and onto the stage, it was a culmination of experience from decades of study, research and learning from past experience. Created as answer to the aircraft of other nations, it was designed not to prove technological superiority, but to prove that Karjans were human, not alien. Despite this middling factor, the aircraft is superior in every possible way, while still retaining the aesthetics of conventionally accepted aircraft. Taking variable geometry to the next level, the wings have at least three possible configurations, depending on the mission profile, and can be be altered on the fly should the mission parameters change. The vertical stabilizers can also change their angle relative to the aircraft as proves necessary on demand. Money has been poured into the project to design hard points so that a full, and not diminished complement of missiles and weapons (Both non-lethal) or equipment can be carried. Thrust vectoring and all the amenities of contemporary Karjan aircraft are part of the package. All this comes at a price premium, owing mainly to the archaic design of the aircraft itself, not because of the high tech components used. It is the mainstay flag plane of the Karjan armed forces and the pinnacle of Bureau design, likely to remain so for well past the foreseeable future. Equipped with pure electric jet engines powered by solar panels and dual RTGs, they are the model for efficiency for other aircraft, and all future Karjan aircraft will likely use engines based on the EJ-4M.
