I am fairly decent in the source sdk's Hammer Map Editor as well as a texture artist.

The women becoming extinct from the suppression field seems to be a little bit shaky, but I guess if your trying to go for a totally different approach it works. Certainly fits well with the dark atmosphere! If the character is passive, that means no combat right? Is this going to be purely narrative/exploration?

The Merkava was originally supposed to be in the hl2 beta. The original Merkava from the beta was unfortunately, only a brush with some rather low res textures, but if you look in the retail files, you can still find the scrapped sound effects for the tank.
