Mudbox is a competitor to ZBrush. Mudbox is sold by Autodesk at the moment.
I agree that unreleased mods shouldn't be contending at all.
It's not hard to fake content and generate hype, judging a mod based on what the developers TELL you is very different fron judging a mod based on how much fun you had PLAYING it.
Where's the source engine I know and what have you done with it? This is not my lil' source engine :<
Just a thought but L4D style outlines around the survivors could be really useful for the Overlordess.
There's code for that on the wiki I believe.
No offense to you but I think you should get a proper voice actor for this. Believe me, it makes all the difference in the world.
Loving the movement improvements.
Don't worry about the "carrot on a stick" effect. The game isn't getting longer, we're just fixing bugs and finishing the last few things that we have on our TODO list.
All we have left todo is colour correction, 3 models, fix a couple of bugs and then the final pre-release beta testing. The end is near, we just suck at predicting how long each bit takes to do.
Nice, good job.
The mod is fine, we're working on it.
MW2 is an awful sequel. Activision have ruined the series.
The glass adverts look too perfect. Add some grime/imperfections to them to fit in with the rest of the room.
It's worth the wait. If you're unsatisfied you can have your money back.
I'm not getting any sound either :/

Finally noticed this..."reply". Next time try paragraphing and using proper grammar, I nearly gave up reading it half-way through.
"Also unlike him I only used 2 tutorials both of them are way out there and will not be used probably ever (fully functional custom thirdperson..." - If you did the thirdperson camera in code and the player model fades when the camera gets too close then I am afraid you are benefitting from the sweat of my brow, so to speak. Do not bite the hand that feeds.
There is potential in everyone to make a mod and naturally EVERYONE goes through a few mod ideas that they grow bored of after a month or two. If people held off posting their mods until they had made some serious progress. This will keep people focusing on the content and quality of the mod rather than the hype and publicity surrounding it. It'd also decrease the number of mods on moddb that are dead and will never get finished while increasing the overall quality of mods. It'd also increase the chance of a mod ever being released greatly, too.
My suggestions make perfect sense and will help improve the modding scene as a whole; better mods, more mods released and less done-in-a-weekend mods that lack any dedication.
Almost forgot, this couldn't be a flame war without any obscenities so: **** you.
Try making progress on a broken sdk. Thanks valve :/
This looks like it's just the default scaleform hud included in the may udk beta. Which part of the hud did you actually make for the mod? Also, what does showing the different debug rendering modes achieve?
The mapping is nice though, I see a lot of potential in the gameplay.
I do hope the piano keys aren't individually modelled and are made seperate with either a bump or displacement map.
Or it's a lot of tris.
£5 says they miss the deadline :P
The outdoor parts of the map could do with more detail. A few decals here and there and some props on the walls and in the corners. It's looking a bit sparse at the moment. Other than that, great job.
Some people have been waiting 36 months.
Nice. Any chance of getting a glimpse of your material setup for that nice cartoony style?
Errr... what? Only the old one needs CSS. NH2 contains a remake of NH1 that does NOT need CSS. You ONLY need Ep2.
Only Episode 2 (which is included with the Orangebox) is required, so you're good to go when we release NH2.
We just wanted to show off our new zombies :)
Nice work team.
Bottom one of third row is nice.
It'll be out when it's delicious and moist. Bugfixing and polishing is hard work.
What are you actually having trouble with in the code? Lag, VGUI, etc?
Love it. Keep him.
It's 95% complete. We're polishing the mod, fixing bugs and re-recording some of the characters' lines.
It's got an 's'. Americans just can't spell things right. Either that or they're desperately trying to have a language of their own.
And it wastes about 15 seconds of the mod makers time when they read it and consider replying. This gives you an extra 10 second wait each time you ask.
It's been linked to but not actually uploaded.
Just uploaded it to ModDB as well as youtube. Seems we neglected to do that when we first released the trailer.
