Also, i have a question about your shaders:
When i use them in HW2, even with everything else vanilla, the singleplayer campaign doest work properly. After the intro cinematic the mission starts... and nothing happens the ships just sit there and there is no UI or anything.
In the case of my mod (draconian empire, have a look ;) ) the mission ends right away!
Any ideas on this? Thanks in advance.

nah, that's not the source code, also, i'm not planning to actually hack HW2 (not that i can anyways) dont want trouble with Sierra haha o.o
yeah i agree too, however, most mods are multiplayer oriented and thus i already have found some things for the build-menu problem.
The cinematics however is hard to find, but i'll ask around :3

yeah ORB had a more NEXUS-ish feeling to it: darker and more focused at realism, while Homeworld is more story-driven.
With this mod im hoping to make a combo of those two: realism (as far as the engine will let me) and story.
the sun you see is actually a ship-object, with a gigantic navlight for the corona :P
The map itself has two lights: one very bright yellow-ish light coming fron the sun and a second, black, light coming from the other side to create a very contrasting light effect.
This map will be featured in the first beta release so then you can see for yourself :)
*smiles too* heheh, well that all depends on the obstacles along the way i guess.
I'm currently having lots of trouble getting the intro cinematic to work right. Somehow after a cinematic the mission just freezes and says the campaign has ended, but when i remove the cinematic the mission works normally o.o
anyways, i think it could just be a month from now, so... April 1th? XD

I'm focusing more on realism when it comes to the graphics in this mod i.e. a darker universe, more use of fx such as lensflares etc.
