About the location, it's actually the bridge (under it) near the rookie village in the cordon, you can even see Petruha and Nimble... that's how that place looked in the older builds, like 1935 for example.
Those levels will be added in later versions, note that this is just a beta so for the moment we'll have to stick with this.
Also, I'd rather see the major bugs fixed and a proper translation instead of new levels...

You don't have to wait for it to crash after save, just reload and everything should work fine, seems that after reload all npc's are back in their standing idle animation instead of the one that plays after the blowout which is the one that causes the game to CTD...
As soon as the blowout ends, normal save or quick save, after that load or wait for crash.. worked all the time for me.
If the mods directory doesn't exist just create it and add this line in the fsgame.ltx file
$mod_dir$ = true| true| $fs_root$| mods\
If you can't open it just use notepad to edit it :)
I got it from here Ap-pro.ru and followed all the steps.
I was able to play it just fine, got through half of the game but I did find bugs like random crashes when reloading a saved game, crashes after blowouts and crashes in one of the Aren fights...
I tested it on both 1.0005 and 1.0006 and had same problems.
I hope this clarifies it...
Of course I know that this version is for the english version of STALKER but before it's released I tried the russian version of this mod and had some crashes and since this is the same version of the mod but only translated I imagine you didn't change anything else and those bugs might still exist. :P
But I did play the 4.3.1 beta of PL but I was using the russian version of STALKER and the crashes were related to the mod and I was thinking that since this is just a translation, those bugs might still exist :)
I did have some CTD when I was playing the russian version and since this is just a translation and nothing more, is it okay to report those bugs for this version?
Just checked the mod on the russian version of Ssoc and I have to say that the team nailed the feel of the older builds.
Atmosphere, sounds, details, models, phisics and ragdolls, the feel of the weapons, everything is great.
Hope that the english version will be released soon, a lot of stalkers fans will love this mod :D
Great update as always, loving the animations and screens :D
This model has "badass" written all over it and the new head model makes the cremator even more creepier than the original :D

The texture is from build 1469 and I think the model can be found in build 1465, also newer version Stalker-wiki.ru /mediawiki/images/3/3d/Ттт.jpg
I think they did, with the numerous builds and huge content released by GDC it would be impossible not to find it. Even rarer things were found, like this Stalker-wiki.ru /mediawiki/images/b/b6/Олдовский_кровосос.png (remove the space between ru and /mediawiki to view)
You do realize that most of the places in the stalker games don't exist in the real exclusion zone :P
The chimney from the old cordon factory is much smaller than that and a lot more thinner.
This might be the old Rostock but not sure, in build 1865 the white building where the crossair is pointing, is the back view of one of the buildings from the factory. Ofc in that build, where the player is in the screenshot, is just a big open space, probably cause it was still wip and dez's team filled the area with buildings.
We'll have to wait till September to find out ;))
Not sure if this was asked before but can the player activate artifacts in LA?
Was funny doing that in 2205 next to the campfire where Wolf was and getting artifacts after a couple of stalkers got sucked in the anomaly xD

Those models looks sick, specially the assassin and a working gravity gun on the quake engine sounds awesome :D

I think you can fill all those boxes (belt) with artifacts, but you won't have anything like ammo, detectors, flashlight, so it would be pointless, unless you swap items everytime a firefight starts...
