Glad to see this mod is still being worked on, the devs are doing a fantastic job! Hope to see more updates in the future and maybe even a release date. :D
My #1 concern are still the in-game cinematics. Have those been polished and made less cringeworthy?

Uh... uh... how about both, let the player chose in the installer or something.
Wouldn't it be easier that when the player wears the Bandit jacket at the bandit camp in the Dark Valley, they would still be considered hostiles (red dots on the radar) just like the soldiers under the bridge in the Cordon? While in Cordon the soldiers would start shooting only if attacked or the player tried to pass the bridge without paying, maybe you can do something similar with the bandits.
Less hassle than making the bandits have actual "Friend" status while disguised...
Actually strelok is the romanization of the Russian word cтрелок which translates to gunslinger. In earlier builds of the game, Strelok was actually named Gunslinger.
It's probably a bug that was added with one of the patches. In unpatched version you'd just double-click and all the money would go into your inventory.
Probably a dev was playing too much Deus Ex when they were working on the plot for the game :)

The only other way the devs could have pulled it off was to make levels accessible only after the player would have bought a better suit from a trader and those suits would be available only when the time was right to move to new location (ex. storyline progression).
Also the suits shouldn't be cheap. That way it could have made the player to explore the available levels a bit more and accept more side quests...
Well the maps aren't amateurish at all. In fact the maps in this game are the best ever seen in a stalker game. It's sad that not many understood the need of blockers. It's not like there aren't other open world games with blockers like these. The Elder Scrolls Oblivion and Skyrim, Fallout 3...
This is the reason why some might not even bother to report bugs anymore, whenever someone brings up a legitimate problem with the game there has to be someone being all like "But this a Free game, if you don't like it fix the problems yourself or uninstall it or ask for refunds."
Is it normal that when you save the game when it's all sunny outside and when you load it back it's raining and viceversa? Vanilla SoC kept the weather just fine through saves; I know the engine went through changes but can't you look into it?
Also at the Garbage when the Sin dude shows up on the bridge, the fog effect still persist after the encounter ends and it looks weird when it's a bright day and with fog especially with DX9 and DX10. Only goes away save-loading or restarting the game...

I'm glad a mod like this is being developed. Never been a fan of mods like Complete or Autumn Aurora 2. Complete is just a compilation of fixes and graphical mods that I can achieve by installing the ZRP, the Absolute textures, Shader Max and Weather Overhauled 3.1 without screwing the AI.
As for Autumn Aurora 2, it might look good but I'm not to keen about some of NPC and weapon models which it comes with, not to mention the story taking place in autumn and everything being brown but... that was the whole idea for the mod :D
So yeah, good luck to you and the rest of the team with this mod, can't wait to see it released :D
There are many cut weapons and some cut armor suits, like the Army and the Skat-9 ones. Will some of them be enabled in game and also have NPC's equip them?
Only asking about them because those items are already in the game files.
Also, will you remove the weapon attachment restriction from vanilla SoC?

You don't have to extract all archives and overwrite. Jesus, as long as all archvies are in the same place, just extract the first one.
