Hello, I'm a game developer! I also like doing videogame modifications. My first graphics card was a NVIDIA Riva TNT2 M64 (AGP, 32MB), I did not have my own computer before until 2000. I'm currently working on OpenKatana as a game logic programmer and modeller most of the time (I can also map and do bunch of other things though).

Happy New Year to all of you out there. I bet you already got plans made, if not then go ahead and think of a goal you want to achieve.
Throwing yourself into things is the only true way of achieving it.
I personally am proud that my current Blu-Ray movie collection is going strong and I'm currently looking forward to getting the Blade Runner Workprint version somewhere. It's the missing piece in my collection. Well there is also the private 4 hour cut of Blade Runner, but that one we will most likely not see anytime soon (sadly).
Also we will hopefully get a release of OpenKatana done this year! In June the project turns 2 years old. We have made some neat little changes to the interface that are quite different from what you'd expect but overall nothing big was changed. But this info belongs to the OldTimes Software blog.
This year I'm going to travel to England to meet one of my friends and colleagues, so there is some extensive planning ahead. Been going through some computer parts and came across my first very own hard drive from 1999 - 20Gb disk space only! Was quite a decent amount at the time, but I had such a huge amount of games back then, I often had to remove games that I still played quite a lot just to check out some other games.
Hope you liked the start of the new year so far, take care!

I'm pretty damn hyped about E3, not so much about Microsoft's XB1, though.

A bit bored lately. Going on a long 1 week travel tomorrow.
Also, I'm waiting for Prototype 2 to be finally realeased for PC. This world needs more creative and original games instead of those all around popular US tacticool shooters like the latest Ghost Recon games which is basiclly a reboot of the old and failed Future Soldier title. Third person cover system faux-milisim game just like anyother. The difference being an rather unique HUD suppsedly based on real prototype US Army technology.
Spec Ops: The Line has graphics that look simillar to HL2.
Thought the story is interesting, first major game of that type in which you actually are killing soldiers that belong to your own army (SFOD-D fighting US Army). The story being based on Conrad's book might also come out quite nicely.
I wish someone would come up with a new game in the style of Forbidden Siren or Silent Hill so we could finally enjoy something else then that constant stream of war games.
yeah, all these war games started to bore me ages ago. i never was a big fan of shooting games actually, i'm sort of more into the adventure/simulation type of thing. except point and click adventures, i can't really figure them out haha
