I don't know about soon it's supposedly been coming soon for well over a year now. I wouldn't hold my breath for it suddenly releasing anytime in the near future. I would be pleasantly surprised if it did though.
if a mod's mapping like blade symphony is being held in the same regard as neotokyos then that is definitely a good thing. neotokyo has some very pretty maps indeed.
yes stats were reset as part of the build 6 release.
pretty sure it did if that ever was the case. my second steam account has only ever had half life 2 on it and has always had access to base 2007 as far as I can remember.
half life 2 will be enough.you just need source sdk base 2007 installed under tools which half life 2 gives you access to.

I think wesley and keats the 2 guys working on this are based in europe so they are probably asleep at the time of this comment. might hear some news when they wake up. if nothing else needs to happen then it will just be up to wesley and keats when to launch but if they have to talk to someone from desura may have to wait a bit longer if no one from desura is online to help. it does sound like from recent comments below that the beta is very close though.

yes you need a beta key or to be a phan.
if you got into the beta through a code you should use the information that was emailed to you with instructions on how to install the beta instead of your forum account details.
the only two ways to currently play blade symphony are by being a phan or through one of the codes that have been given out.
if you got into the beta via one of those ways and are still having issues please join the puny human irc channel #punyhuman on irc.gamesurge.net and someone will be able to assist you.
if you have a firewall try disabling it and then updating.

have you never seen a mod website with a donate button before? it's basically like that, the money is to help pay for things like webhosting stats site etc external things from outside of the mod that the creators incur costs for.
keep up the good work and just release when you think it's ready not when some of us impatient moddb fans think it should be ready. of course if you released tomorrow... :p

from what I understand basically all mod teams have to wait for an sdk update from valve before they can compile for mac. I think it also has to be compiled on a mac as well.

I bought the crysis maximum edition today since it was on special on steam so I could play this mod as I had warhead/wars but not crysis. left it downloading overnight so it should hopefully finish by the time I wake up. looking forward to playing this been watching all the videos people put up on youtube about it and soon I will be able to play it myself

you still have to aim there isn't any what I would call auto aim. you do get punished if you don't aim properly. as Praz said plenty of movement stuff comes into the equation. I've only been testing for a short while but it's definitely a challenge to always get the perfect shot on an enemy
