Thanks for the info! I'll be getting into it eventually, but is it any more difficult than the original campaigns due to the added units and such, or is it about the same?

Does this also keep the pre and post-battle cutscenes, like from BFME2 for instance?
Does the War of the Ring campaign work in multiplayer like regular BFME2?
It's a fantasy universe. Gondorian armour on its own is very 15th century in design, when full plate armour became normal. Same for Uruk-hai. Yet at the same time you have Rohirrim wearing 9th-10th century chainmail.
What was the point of remastering all of these if only the RotK Aragorn skin shows up ingame? Even at the start of Moria.
I am also wondering this. Wanna see if I can get friends to download and play this
So how do we actually know this is running? I installed it and it still says 1.1 on the main menu
Thanks for the help. And thanks for this wonderful mod!
Alright! Is there any way to get the old main menu art back too in a similar fashion or is that not possible?
Is there a way to get the original Age of Empires Gold (non-RoR) main menu and music back? I've searched and found no mods that do this. Any possibility of adding an option in the HD Launcher to switch to the original MM and theme?
Not on the topic of new changes, but how did you manage to fix it so multiple sounds of the same kind can play over each other? It's been around since the first available beta on here yet I still haven't figured it out.
In regards to sound design, could the Witch Hunter Sister of Battle units be reverted to their original voice lines from the Dark Crusade mod, rather than the Soulstorm voice lines? Since Sisters of Battle are also in the game, it adds some variety and preserves the original mod maker's work on voices.
Also, the battle lines for Thousand Sons really need to be toned down volume-wise, they're WAY too loud as is and become irritating rapidly.
Is there a way to keep the dark background on NPC dialogue window text like in the base game? I noticed it's gone after installing the mod, and didn't see an option in the installer to keep it.
I have Nexus Mod Manager already, but I didn't realize that it was as simple as hitting the "add mod from files" button and then clicking the zip folder. It's been awhile since I've used NMM so that's new to me. Thanks for the help!
I feel a bit stupid asking this, but when I open the ZIP files which files do I actually drop into the Data folder? Reading the txt file just mentions "installing" but doesn't specify the exact steps, and there's a folder tagged optional as well as a fomod folder and another zip file, so what do I put in to just have the basics? I assume the Textures and Menus folders respectively. What is the fomod folder and r_Fallout.7z for?
I'm not sure if I'm missing somewhere that all these things are specified and talked about either on here or in the txt file itself.
How does one install this mod? I tried just dropping it into the Stronghold Crusader folder and it didn't work. Using the Steam version, btw.
I reinstalled and the issue is fixed. :)
I may try that after all. By uninstall it do you mean just deleting the folder I put it in. then redownloading it from here?
Thank you very much! And I might add that I love your mod immensely. It's one of my favorite eras in history and it's indescribably wonderful to be able to play it in a polished manner in Medieval 2 thanks to you and your team. I'm most excited for the final Ultimate release. :)
I'm currently having an issue in which gunpowder infantry units have the sound effects of bows being fired along with the hand gun sound effects. Any way I can fix this, and is it a well known occurrence? I'm using the 5.0 Beta that allows campaign play, by the way.
You'll have to install the unofficial patch 1.3 and then an addon folder will be there.
I think this might need a patch of some sort. Every map I load up has issues with the wrong era of clones (phase 2 clones on Geonosis, for instance, or on Ryloth) and the wrong legions mixed together as well. The officer class on every map also seemed glitched for clones, always wearing an odd white and black striped set of armour.
I've been having an issue where starting as a Daimyo out the gate makes it where the opening fight that involves the bandit glitches out. The merchant that's supposed to come and take you out of the initial fight after you defeat the bandit loses all his clothes and fights you, meaning you're permanently stuck in that small alley at the start. Any way to fix this? I've installed the hotfix, btw.
