Hope so ... I would like to see you replace those merchant stalls with buildings and shops. Even if it means sliding the front stone wall and two towers closer to the shore at the entrance. And you need to look at some Galleon and Ship Resources around the net. And as a personal taste, I like the row boat on the left side (like in the original) instead of on the right.

I need a new computer to play Skyrim ... using XP at low res and in window mode just to get it going. Might have to buy an X-Box and just to test the game and play. I don't understand why they didn't just upgrade the Oblivion Engine ... it was smooth and worked on both platforms with no problems. And the way the economy is, who can afford a gaming rig computer every couple of years?

Morrowind was released early before it was ever finished. And it was left up to the fans to finish ... which adds to it's popularity. Bethesda was still a very small company at the time coming off the dismal sales of Battlespire and Redguard. The landmass for the Morrowind Mainland was hardcoded - which is being used by the Tamriel Rebuilt Project, but never released officially. Hince the half-hills in Silgrad Tower and Blacklight City and TR Maps 1-3.

As far as the Embassies in Ebonheart go for the Tamriel Provinces ... Skyrim Mission & Blackmarsh Mission, it something that Elder Scrolls Online is doing in releasing the whole landmass of Tamriel. You will be able travel everywhere and visit everything. I don't think making Total Conversions or rebuilding the outer provinces to be screwing up the lore. Fans want to travel from Morrowind to Blackmarsh, Elsweyer, Skyrim and Cyrodill. Which Bethesda is doing the same thing with each new game. But I still like the fans versions of these outer provinces.

I really like the way you opened up the courtyard. Perhaps you can add a training area for guards with practice dummies, target range, weapon racks. And a guards barracks or knight's keep. I always thought it was strange their was only one knight in Ebonheart. There is mod called Tamriel Knights that adds a keep inside the courtyard.

And the Tamriel Missions House - Skyrim Mission, Blackmarsh Mission, etc. needs to have their own individual towers with transport to their homelands or quest missions based off their culture. Or deleted all together ... I don't understand why their would be Embassies in Ebonheart, but it is suppose to be the main castle. The Keep really should be moved off the island to the mainland with a huge city. And the castle should be kept just as an outpost keep to protect travelers on their way from Seyda Neen, Vivic Canons, to the mainland.

Thanks

Part 2

Battlespire - Was a great First Person Shooter or Sword game. It came out right around the same time as Quake I and Doom II using the X-Engine from their X-Car Drag Racing game. However, the game was very choppy and slow and failed to compete with Quake I and Doom II ... which used a very simple but fast game with twisting levels. It also used voiced dialog with text something that was repeated with Redguard and Oblivion. Battlespire could have been a great game - if only if they had used a faster engine with quick gameplay and twisting dungeons. They should have copied or bought the Quake I Engine instead of wasting time developing the X-Engine was bloated and slow in processing the graphics.

Terminator & Skynet - I have to mention because for me it was much better game than Fallout 3. Using the Daggerfall X-Engine ... the older version of the engine build - it had quick graphics and great gameplay with jeeps and trucks and rockets. Core features in this game were not repeated with Fallout 3 ... why I don't know. Maybe for the same reason Todd Howard ignores the core system used in Daggerfall - maybe because it was before his time with the company.

Thanks

Redguard - was a great 3rd person Tomb Raider inspired Adventure Game set within the Elder Scrolls game world. The company was at it's smallest during the creation of this game coming off the disappointing sales of Battlespire and the Company itself was near bankruptcy. They had little cash and little time to produce a quality AAA Game. Hince the game had locked doors and unfinished interiors limited NPC's and only a small island to explore. But It was the first game to feature a main black character in a game and voice text dialog which was latter used in Oblivion, the game itself sold very well on the original x-box. I really like this game and was very vocal on the Redguard Board giving Tech. Support Advice for the game ... I believe my callname was RedEric or something like that - I was cometeing with The Ranger over tech. advice. It had something to do about editing notepad and REM out a device line in the code text that would fix a black screen crash when the game booted on windows 98. Redguard was a great game and had alot of promise but could not compete with Lara Croft Tomb Raider for obvious reasons ... they didn't have a female lead. There was a plan to produce Redguard 2: The Eye of Argonia but it was never given the green light. It would have expanded the main characters with the pre-generated NPC's in the game - meaning you could play as Tobias, Felicia, or Dreekus the Argonian Barkeep - centered around the red ruby gem The Eye of Atgonia. Instead Bethesda made the company decision to focused their efforts on Morrowind, and I'm glad they did. I will still like to see Redguard 2 someday for the X-Box 360 ... something to compete with Tomb Raider.

Thanks

I'm glad that the Team is still working on Tamriel Rebuilt ... and the next release Almalexia and Heartland! But if the land is already hard-coded like in Silgrad Tower and Blacklight City ... then why not go ahead and release the whole landmass. And included buildings and NPC's in future releases ... that way the moddling community can have fun playing around with it.

New Dawn of Darkness Wallpapers and Gameplay Video have been posted for your viewing pleasure. Please check them out - the project is not dead!

Dawn of Darkness 3.0: MW Total Conversion - is forthcoming soon! A Total Conversion of Dawn of Darkness for the X-ngine based upon the Morrowind Game. I am not going to settle for anything less than doing a professional MOD. A free download ... which should be released within a month or two.

Time really does have a lot to do with this project. And the state of the Gaming Industry, finding the right engine/project. What I've developed for the story of DOD v3.0 and the Fantasy Setting completely blows away what WardSix Entertainment originally did with the Quake II Tech Engine for DOD Episode 1. All I can say is it's on the same level as a Full RPG! Like Morrowind, Baldur's Gate II, DragonLance, Lord of the Rings, and Conan! The old-style game play is gone - no longer will it be dark, demonic, or disturbing, the game will have a pure Fantasy Setting with Custom Races and Multiple Classes. No longer will it be a Lone Knight escaping a Castle Dungeon. I can also say that King Roarkic (formally known as Roarke!) is now a much more complex NPC Character with a tragic story with social, political, and personal problems to deal with. I will work on the world building process right now, and I think Dawn of Darkness: MW Total Conversion will make a lot of things out of the original story.

Until Open Morrowind released an actual mod or game .... there is no competition. It' just like My Mod To Do List - in my Blog. Bethesda has not to my knowledge released the tech engine for Morrowind to the public so I don't know what engine they are using? Unity3d? DarkBasic? FPS Creator? Lith Tech? Tech 4 - Doom 3? Or the Unreal Engine? It would be a major accomplishment to re-create the world of Morrowind in another engine - A few mods have done so for Oblivion and Skyrim, so it can be done. I know I don't have much room to talk with my mod - WIP - Seyda Neen Census & Village v.10 - but still I did a lot of work. And the update is being released soon ...

Thanks

Baldur's Gate I-II - Was a great turn-based game with isometric (bird's eye) view. Very popular with Old RPG'ers who were familiar with the AD&D Core Rule System. I like Baldur's Gate II more than the first one, because of the upgrades made. This game came out around the same time as Bethsda's Redguard - which was a Tomb Raider 3rd person Adventure Game. I thought that the studio would follow in the footsteps of Interplay and develop a turn-based game for Elder Scrolls - but it never happen. Instead they focused their efforts on Morrowind, and I'm glad they did.

Icewind Dale I&II - I enjoyed very much and still play now and then. I feel the same way about Icewind as I do about Baldur's Gate. Two great games, makes you feel sad that Interplay went bankrupt. Hopefully someone else or another company will buy out the franchise and continue with this style of gameplay. A much better franchise than Diablo.

Diablo I-III - I really enjoyed Diablo I when it first came out, a true hack n slash game for the trigger mouse role-player. Diablo II - I was disappointed in, because of it's long development time, and the limiting tile map with green hedges as borders. The first level should have been released as it's own individual game. While levels 2 and up had better graphics and a different locals. Diablo III - I havn't bought yet, waiting to get a new computer or x-box to play. But from the video the map also looks limiting in design with just dungeons - something that they could have done a long time ago. Looking at Unity 3d - and other games like TorchLight and Mountain King. You can tell they are not doing anything different than anyone else.

World of Warcraft - While I like WOW I have not played the game that much. I enjoyed Everquest, Guild Wars, Conan, and LOTR Online much better. I don't see what all the fuss is about a Panda Race anyway?

Thanks

Fallout 3 - I really enjoyed but found the engine to be blocky and jarring - the same for New Vegas with it's broken voiced dialog - the main quest and DLC's in Fallout 3 were very entertaining and overall the game was very enjoyable.

Dishonored & Rage - I have not played yet. I'll wait till I get a new computer or an X-BOX 360. The same for Assassin's Creed 2&3, which I know is not a Bethesda Game.

Thief - I have to mention because it is still my favorite game that I play all the time. Thief I-III and of course Thief IV: The Dark Mod Project based upon the Doom 3 Engine.

I use very little Skyrim Mods, except expanded cities! Again because I'm playing it at low res. on a XP. Will have to wait for a new computer or X-Box 360.

Oblivion I played alot but found little that I would like to add to the game, agree it was generic! Knight of The Nine I enjoyed greatly and think it was a good addon. Shivering Isles, while I liked the weird landscape and both cities Bliss and Crucible, I found it disturbing and not a good main quest.

Morrowind - Still holds some strange attraction for me. And there are a ton of mods for the game. I only played it all the way through once, but can't seem to get past the first town without making changes ... I feel the same way about the whole game in general.

Daggefall - To me is the ultimate game. Not only to the tons of side quest, main quest, expanded landmass that takes you across the whole Illaic Bay. But tons of twisting dungeons and crypts. The game is just endless in options and thing to do. The only handicap is the 2D Graphics. If they took the core of this game and updated the graphics to DX11 ... it would blow Skyrim out of the water!

Arena - While I enjoyed the game, I found the mist Fog of War limiting in gameplay. But still the best RPG game to come out in it's day.
