I'm passionate about gaming and have been doing it ever since 1996 when I got the PS1. I've been modding ever since late 2006 (almost a 10 year gap). My first ever mod was Desert Region for Morrowind. I tried modding for Half-Life but it's not for me. I focus mainly on my Desert Region mod series which will end after Desert Region 3 and I have plans for an indie game in the future. Watch this space...

Jules, let's talk realism, shall we? I can contribute to this project when needed but I don't have that much time as I used to. I plan several years ahead and I already thought out up to Desert Region 4 for Skyrim and my indie game around one generation ahead. Looking at the immense amount of marketing that I have to do for one iPhone game, I don't think I would be able to tackle this thing in its entirety. Maybe if I would work with Xargoth in that, that's another matter...

Jules, a lot of work is going on behind the scenes. Once I get enough necessary stuff into the mod, I will make another news update. In the mneatime, enjoy the screenshots :)

woweatme12345, I found a solution! Although, it is a bit clunky, Steam users have successfully installed TCs and SCs ( total and semi conversions ). I will put detailed instructions on how to do it in the ReadMe ( it is long and hard to explain in just 2,000 characters :P )

Google "Morrowind No CD patch" and apply it to this mod when it comes out.

Mods work funny in the Steam version of Morrowind. This mod requires the disk to play. In Steam, you cannot play the other TCs (like Arktwend for instance). I recommend to buy the disk version.

I have started to work on the Waistworks part of Imperial City. You can access it via the console (the room name is the same as in DR1). I will add the rest of the rooms back and have something to explain why it exists and why does it look the way it looks.
But really, some locations have been added back (like Spargus City and the Oasis) because they fit into the AOA world. Maybe other locations could be re-added because of damage to the time-space continuum due to hefty use of the Time Clock. Maybe.

Jules, yes you can. You can make any TC (total conversion) standalone with the no CD patch. Steam does not handle TCs for Morrowind, as far as I know.

And about the progress, I hit a snag when trying to innovate with MWSE so I left that until later. Right now, I am going through all of the cities and trying to bring all citizens life of some sort. I want the overall quest count to be more than in DR1 (45 as opposed to 125) and the wasteland is a good place to start.

woweatme12345, the base mod for DR2 (Ashes of Apocalypse) has been coded so that it needs the original disk to play (and it is a TC). Try applying the No-CD patch to the EXE file in the AOA original download:

Jules, to tell you the truth, I'm aware that the hype for this mod has died down a lot. Even if I got another professional music composer to compose for this mod, interest will not dramatically increase.

UBA's Paradise is a side storyline and is supposed to get at least 98% of the missing features of AOA (mercenaries, being able to become a mutant...etc) a reality. I release my work because I am proud of my work and want to share it with others.
