Those rankings are based on the number of visits within a set time period ( a day-ish). If you watch the rankings mods tend to fly up the list when they update. So...no big deal? It happens all the time.
Errr....That moment when they both said the same path?
Or you know, it might not even be released yet.
Says the 19th for me. It can vary with your time zone though if I can recall.
Errrrrr....That's what you're saying. We have never said this nor have we ever given the indication that we don't give a **** about balance. We do try and mimic the canon power of the ships but even after this, the ISD II is hardly some god-like capital ship.
You are always free to share your opinions here or at our forums (preferably): Gutr.swrebellion.com
The signup thread for the beta is in the link in that news post. It is not in this comment section.
DAMN IT. How did you know that? We must have a leak in our team.
It would be a smart idea to download it.
Probably in the future.
I'm glad that you resolved your problem. I hope you enjoy the mod. Please feel free to leave any feedback here or at our forums (preferably at the forums): Gutr.swrebellion.com
We respectfully disagree. We'll stick with our own thanks.
42 +/- 9867.
We haven't decided yet, that element will be figured out when we have a more complete mod and can determine the balancing with better accuracy.
At least one person read the manual! /highfive
To quote Corey from the forums:
"The Tector was considered, and was planned for for a long time but ultimately I decided to axe it. There's nothing inherently wrong with the Tector but the power difference between an ISDII and a Tector isn't really big enough to justify using 3 capital ship slots for such a similar range (ISDI-Tector), and there are some readability issues ingame if you're trying to micromanage. Kind of hard to know at a glance what's a Tector and what's an ISD."
The Allegiance has been added to the list for a reason. ;)
"Soon" is such a relative term. It's completely up to you. If you wanted to play TR tomorrow then holding out for 2.1 might not be the best strategy. It'll be done when it's done (and tested :) ). I can't say we can put a date on that point at this time though.
Install hotfix 1 and 2.
No. That's a Legacy era ship. It fits in a time period after what the mod covers.
Now just look at our team communication falling apart. This is just disappointing.
Probably in the future or the past. We haven't decided yet.
If you're patient it usually goes on sale when Steam has one of their big sales.
We have to finish the new version first before we can update it.
What about them? If you're referring to the player 00, 01 etc. structures and markers those are used in skirmish map creation. This tutorial details making a map for galactic conquest.
Somewhere. We'll supply information about how far along the mod is and ETAs when we feel like it; not every time someone asks. You can get a fair idea though by looking at our unit lists on our forums.
Somewhere between starting the mod and finishing the mod.
We have no intention of doing a Trinity release.
That's for you to figure out.
If you're interested please do try it out for the base FOC game and leave us feedback. It will help us immensely in its development. Thrawnsrevenge.com
The Desura version is not yet available. We are working on getting it released using that platform in the near future.
The Eclipse-class ( Starwars.wikia.com ) and the Sovereign-class (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Sovereign-class_dreadnought ) are two different types of ships. The Eclipse was featured in vanilla FOC while both were present in our Thrawn's Revenge mod.
It is indeed an actual Chiss ship though.
Who said you'll be able to build more than one?
They're already in the released version of the mod...
No it does not.
Our last news post has more info on the subject.
The Pentastar Alignment will be a playable faction in 2.0.
This is a GC map.
What graphics card does your laptop use? Some GPUs have issues with the graphics settings in EAW/FOC.
There are some space models that have been completed already and have been for a long time.
It has been decided this map will be for Chorax.
We had to scale it down for skirmish because there are some limitations on the size we could have it without affecting gameplay. If we scaled it correctly it would take a huge amount of the map.
In the GC Sluis Van map you will see a signficantly larger (and canon-colour) version.
Surprisingly, yes..you can. Try looking at the NI_PENGAUANI.alo model from the vanilla Empire at War (not FOC) files in the ALO viewer.
The beta will not be available for most of the day. Sorry for the inconvience.
We have an idea. ;)
That's a pretty close minded approach to criticism that would still apply to even a beat up ship. You would expect that since you're trying to make this mod look as a good as possible you would be open to graphical suggestions.
Nice work Cheesecake. I like the way it looks.
Very nice. Just out of curiosity what program did you use to compose it?
Mabye a bit more variation on the grass textures there Psycho...otherwise it looks good.
More current updates can be seen on their forums just so you guys know.
