"Soon" is such a relative term. It's completely up to you. If you wanted to play TR tomorrow then holding out for 2.1 might not be the best strategy. It'll be done when it's done (and tested :) ). I can't say we can put a date on that point at this time though.

What about them? If you're referring to the player 00, 01 etc. structures and markers those are used in skirmish map creation. This tutorial details making a map for galactic conquest.

We have no reason to change the hardpoints. All of the canon hardpoints for ships are represented through hardpoint and pulse number. It is all explained on page 9 of our manual. Scribd.com If we were to increase the number of hardpoints it would just create more lag for some players and would make the ships ridiculously crowded with green hardpoint icons.

Yes, a few units are being added to the game as can be seen in the images of new units we've posted since the 2.0 release (ie. Lucrehulk).

Yes, there is a difference between the initial version of hotfix 2 that we took down and the one we have up now. We didn't just take down a hotfix and then re-upload the exact same thing :p. this does mean that you will most likely get a sync error with someone using the current version of hotfix 2. Unfortunately trying to use the current hotfix 2 installer over your mod files will most likely not work and you will need to re-install the mod from scratch to bring your mod up to the current hotfix.

For this we do apologize. We took down the old version of hotfix as soon as we found out it wasn't working correctly but unfortunately some (such as yourself) managed to download it during that period.

If you're having issues with your account on the forums message one of us the username you registered with. Sometimes legitimate members get marked as bots by the system.

I'll let either Slornie or Corey reply to your suggestions as I'm sure they'd love to. I will say though in the case of the Mauler and 2-M; they are in the LucasFilm Holocron continuity database along with the rest of the FOC game so whether you like it or not these units are canon units in the Star wars universe.

You may want to try using an alternative mirror for the download when you click the download now button as Gamefront might be a tad iffy these days. That or Desura is also an option.

Mhm, adjusting the setting on our mod won't do as much as adjusting the settings in the base game primarily because we lack things such as LOD meshes for each unit etc. I can't comment on your specific situation because all I have to go off is mine and the odd Youtube video people post of our mod (some show lag , some don't). I do hope that the changes we have said we're going to make in 2.1 do alleviate your situation. However until 2.1 you'll just have to wait patiently unfortunately.
