Is there any way to enable shadows for imp fireballs and muzzle flash?

I love the self-shadowing, but for some reason it doesn't work for imps and their fireballs?

Is there any way to turn off motion blur? I use seta r_useMotionBlur "0" in the config but it doesn't work. It keeps resetting to 1.

I applied the patch and it does nothing. I read on another forum that the problem is a glitch and that I need to go into the config file and change a value, but I don't know which one.

IIRC I killed the controller before he could hit me.

For some reason I've had this blurred/double vision effect for around an hour or so. I was on the quest "Turn off the Brain Scorcher" and it started around when I reached the antenna. I went into the bunker, turned off the machine, and got out of the bunker and my vision is still messed up. Can anyone help?
