hopefully, it'll be a 1st day autumn release =)
Everything does look great. Shame you cant view closer into the scope.
I had this mod when it first came out + older patches and played fine on my old system. Just got a new rig and reinstalled this mod. Starts fine unpatched but then I install 2.10R and now it keeps CTD. Any help on this would be appreciated.
four weeks? I thought it was supposed to be released before the end of september?
Was the release of LADC in a beta stage and has not been made final yet?
all works fine now =)
so the bloom parameters can tweaked within the weather document?
Can we adjust the SweetfFX parameters once we play this? I have those same effects in most of my stalker mods with a simple sweetfx addon. FIlm grain, lens dirt, lens flair, vignette, chromatic abberation and many more.......but the bloom strains my eyes. After a few hours, it does put a massive strain on your eyes.
I agree about the running animation. It looks silly. Fists with more lower arms.
Im sure you'll squash it..............hopefully =)
People need to realize thats it nearly 2018 and this game has been out for quite some time. By now most people should have 'decent' rigs. Mods shouldnt be made around for low end computers in mind anymore. We need to push these engines too their limits =)
It doesnt look too good in that distant background =(
More vegetation/trees and denser grass. Make the world look more full.
I just downloaded the mod and am having issues with certain keybinds. Im a lefty mouse so my right hand uses the numerical section. Hitting keys are triggering off messages like freeze time and so on.......
I guess these were 'debug' keys?
You can ask many fans of the sgm series and they will tell you 2.1 over 2.2. 2.1 is more refined and perfected as with 2.2 it does feel unpolished. I think 2.2 in the xtra maps feels more empty. I would try 2.1 first.
Just gave it a try and im not liking it. I guess this was designed with multiplayer in mind, im a single player. Its waaaay too hard for me. You should at least drop potions but greatly reduce their drop rate. So far I cant even get into the first dungeon without losing all of my potions. NO potions and no gold. Stamina drain is just overkill. I run 15ft and am winded.
Eh, it was worth a shot.
looks good, will give it a try!
Yes, I just went down on the DynamicRange from 0.7 to 0.2. I now dont have that bleeding bloom that burns my eyes. Thanks Kanyhalos!
Will certainly give this a try
Is this still Clear Sky vanilla action/story but with add-ons? Are there still factions wars?
Question here, im already playing 2.1 for like the hundredth time now and was wondering, how does 1.7 and 2.0 compare to 2.1?
I already played 2.2 and did feel it was unpolished which is why I favor 2.1. Just wondering on the other two.
Hi Kany, How can I reduce the bloom? It can get a bit too bright.
Overall im very impressed with this visual mod. Great job!
*edit* Just reinstalled and all works fine.
I would love to see this, even if it is just a port
I would love to see this. Even if it is just a port
im playing 2.1 all in one and am getting this error
[error]Expression : pm->m_animations.size()
[error]Function : player_hud_motion_container::load
[error]File : D:\prog_repository\sources\trunk\xrGame\player_hud.cpp
[error]Line : 92
[error]Description : motion not found [svu_idle_sprint_2]
*edit I dont know why i see a drive D:\ in there.
I always felt the best way to balance a mod for me would be to make the economy VERY hard (rediculous hard) . I like the grind for money and to buy high tier weapons/suits, upgrades and their parts. I would prefer npcs to drop more of food and ammo to keep the gameplay and combat going so that I could acquire these items from traders. IMO, weve all played vanilla/misery a gazzilion times and know what to expect with the story, but the key is to prolong that reach to the end as long and as enjoyable as possible. The best part in all these mods is getting those items that you work so hard for in playing. Even if its a new story mod, the best part is getting those key items.
Website looks nice. Not much of a game teaser that doesnt show the game =(
Anyways, looking forward to this.
Dante, are you planning on patching this? I would very much like to give this a try.
you are going to make a great contribution to the modding community with these textures. Great work!
