I think you figured by now but this is Dead, I have no time to work on this at all anymore with work putting crazy hours so I can go to a professional school.
Maybe one day I'll do it again with CoH 2.
As things are now I'm searching for a job since bills won't pay themselves. I'm also attending a professional course, so all the free time I have is to eat and sleep. The only thing I can do from time to time is working on the vehicle combat, infantry combat and weapons stats since those are only value changing.
Basically, it is extremely slow. I will post an update on the situation and where I am in the work.
I hope we will be able to pilot ships bigger than a fighter, you know like a cruiser or some big warships :)
Basicly, for the moment, its more stats, squads and texture change. A change for the doctrine. All taht to make things a bit more realistic, less arcadish (can't make it completly realist cause of game limitation).

All that with armor Scheme
Well, this is hard to tell. Some sources say it does, while others say something else. So I looked at blueprints and I'll use the 60mm since it is the majority of the side armor of the Tiger who use that thikness.
Well, every of those things arent hard to put ingame at all or to simulate. This is also to inform how they behave. Nothing much can be done on the mod actually, I'm still trying to find my CD Key and THQ support is no help.
Eventhough I can't mod things, I'm still experimenting on how to make things to have more realisms. And this makes me work on an improved version of the Vehicle Warfare System. A post should pop soon ;)

Na, actually, those aren't factions, they are "HQs" that you can deploy to call-in there units on the field. Plus, I will add 2 german divisions I think, still thinking about it.

Yeah I figure it out pretty easily. And I'll just give it to the rifleman abp, anyway I'm the kind of guy who will create a new abp for any new units and entity ( actually got 3 different for the riflemans).

Ive been doing lost of research on the canon penetration of each tank during that specific timeline (around june 1944) and base on the most commun shell use by the crew. After this, what I found was that the Stug main gun around this time was, at close range, a little more powerfull than the 17 pdr gun of the firefly. All of this with the most commun shell of the moment.
But like you can see, the Stug shoot shells that lost lots of velocity at long range when the firefly well, loose less so in the end deals more damages at long range than our stug.
To tell you, my damage values are base on the penetration (in mm) the gun was able to do from 500 meters to 2000 meters.
And yes, the Tiger must fear that Firefly cause he can get blowup pretty easily if ambush but can get severily punish by that Tiger too. The vehicle warfare is not final, I'm still working on it, but until the moment I'll be able to find some infos about tank vs tank warfare, and how many shoots each one can take against one an other, it'll will be hard to find the right way to deal with it.
Nothing yet, I will be more able to answer this when the doctrines will be on their way and/or finish. But until then, I cant give any date.
Im not a expert in modeling, I can do some simple thinkg like planes and weapons, but even though my software doesnt work with the plug-ins.
If I could fine the backpack I could mix the model with the Object Editor who actually doesnt work either on my computer (for some obscure reasons).
But I think I've seen one with backpacks on the CoH forum, I'll see if I can ask the maker of it.
Yeah well I'm still learning, those are some of my first textures ( plus the candians little work), so I might work them a little more.
