I personally didn't like fuel that much, I'd always forget about it :P Make it an option if you do implement it! :) You could use the support frigate as a mobile "light carrier" but only for docking and repairing fighters. Just throwing an idea out there :P
Will the capital ships be getting "point defense systems" like the capital ships in HW2 have? (The little machine guns and the pulse laser things on the battlecruisers)

I played 0.21, sector gameplay's a bit tricky to get at first but it's very fun :) Good work man! Keep it up! :)
Just a few questions tho:

Will we be able to play on the normal Homeworld maps?
Will you add in drones/fighters as "fighter Squadrons"??
I downloaded 0.21 from gamefront and it crashes when it starts to load the 'universe' whenever I try to start a match.
Okay, I did that but now it's crashing while loading a game, when it gets to the 'Universe'
Alright soo, I installed the Alpha 0.2 but it is still running off of the alpha 0.13, how can I remove Alpha o.13?
Ohh, ok, that makes sense :) As long as the sectors are big enough for large battles, *cough* Titans *cough*, then I think it will work out quite nicely :)
It looks good, but one question:
Why can you only fight in Sectors? shouldn't there be fighting outside of the sectors in normal space too?

I have two questions :)
Will the AI be similar to the existing Homeworld AI? (Where they start out sending waves of smaller ships, then waves of bigger ships supported by smaller ships, and so on and so forth)
Will the AI be able to use ALL of the ships at their disposal? (Including Titans and Capitals)
So how will industrials work? Will they travel on their own between sectors on their own? Or will be control them?

You could also do it like they did with Homeworld 2 ships: Make it some you can only see the engine effects when the camera is a certain distance from the ship, like a viewdist ratio or somethin :P It's lookin good, keep up the great work man!
This looks more like it would be the Minmatar engine effects
