My profile for Revora is Dúnedain
It takes time to do these things man. As many have said before, modders do these things on their spare time. We aren't a full on production team who soley work on this day after day until its done. We have lives outside of this :P
Plus wouldn't you rather have the faction fully working first?
After over a year of playing I think it's high time to post something. This has to be my favorite mod of all time!
It adds so much and makes you really believe that you are fighting in Middle Earth. The peoples of Middle Earth look great and in many places look a million times better than the movie! Everything flows, the battles are amazing, and the Cities and Castles are all heavily detailed to show even the smallest things such as the signs along the streets of Minas Tirith.
Installing at first was challenge (I read the manual too) but once I got it working I was hooked. I dropped almost all my other games and ONLY played this! I mean, this mod made me buy Mount and Blade! No other mod has done that except for Third Age Total War. That is how brilliant this mod is!
So yeah there's my long thank you to both the players and devs of The Last Days of the Third Age.
I've never been able to get Halbarad with Aragorn in Imladris. Is there something else you have to do when you summon the camp?
*Play on WOTR*
To be honest, I liked the old ones better.
Now this I highly Approve!!
Meat Racks for the win.
Alright then. I guess I'll just have to see what happens!
I thought Osgiliath was attacked? Either way I still think the movie version was pretty well portrayed from the books.
But If you do use this model my suggestion would to be to add some statues or more heraldic symbols of the Seven Stars, White Tree and other Numenorean Symbols to give it a more cultural flavor.
And Plus the tower was destroyed for only 1600 years! (Destroyed 1409 TA) A long time still but I don't think that the craftsmanship of the Numenoreans would let the tower to fall into that much of a ruin. Just look at Osgiliath. It has been in Ruin for many years but much of it still remains intact (Even if it wasn't on top of a hill.) My main point is that even if it is ancient and ruined it should still have a cultural look and feel, which IMO the movie version had.
I know that you guys follow along the books, but the ornamental Features gave the movie version a special feel! It had a more Fantasy look to it as well! Not to mean any offense but like I said before this looks like it could be a watchtower from anywhere. There isn't much Arnorian look to it. I know it's the team's decision on what it's going to be but I must say, Amon Sul should still have an ornamental feel to it, not some random tower on top of a hill.
Moddb.com I522.photobucket.com Those look much more like the movies. This one looks more like a generic Watchtower.
Wait what about the other ruins of Amon Sul? Whats going to happen to them?
Needs Mirkwood around it.
For the next beta will we still be able to be in cyrodiil?
Not really a fan of this orc armor unless of course it's an orc roaming Dol Guldor or Angmar. Otherwise I don't think it would really suit an orc of Mordor.
O.o....Dunedain Ranger looking cloak.... This is the one thing that Ive been waiting for...
Osgiliath (It had gates in the book, even if they where broken)
No, the White Knives (Knife in the Books) he had before. Most likely being an Heirloom or something from his father.
No its not really, Im just trying to make sure its as close to the movie reference as possible. Oh yeah and after looking at some movie pics of the Nazgul, the number of spines seems to be just about right.(I guess Games Workshop needs to edit their model ;)
This is pretty ironic considering that I have the Fellbeast model from Games Workshop sitting at my desk when I first saw this. The one thing this fellbeast needs is more spikes and bigger feet.
Is Legolas going to have his own knives with the white handle?
Is Glamdring going to have this as well?
The one thing that I'm hoping for is some new hair models that we can still use in vanilla oblivion that resemble the members of the Fellowship.
There are no hair models that can be used to make a good looking Aragorn, Frodo, or any other character based on their actors. If anything like this was included in the next patch, it would make my life in Oblivion so much better and much more enjoyable.
Only Con is that His tail and neck should be longer.
Where is that at?
Will the dwarves be natural sprinters? From the looks of it they will have to be if they want to make it over those hills
