It's actually not dead at all.. Join the steamgroup lol.
Yeah, that patch deleted the kingdoms.exe, you can only play kingdoms now through the normal medieval2.exe.
Yeah, Creative Assembly ****** up big time since the recent update.
Did you try launching it through steam though? Since that seems to be the only way of launching it after the update. If (or when) you have it on steam, launch it using the normal medieval 2 exe, the kingdoms one doesn't exist anymore (kingdoms is now a DLC for med 2).
R.A.W. is for a diffrent game, so no can't be done.
PATCH 3.1 u DON'T NEED
3.1 is obsolete, just install 3.0 and 3.2.
Btw if you experience problems with that new M2TW patch (u cant play mods anymore cuz kingdoms.exe is gone and the kingdoms content is no longer a seperate game), try this workarround out.
There is a workarround for that new steam update.
Delete the very installers that you downloaded and redownload them.
Yeah that could be it, redownloading should work pretty good.
Something is wrong in your windows register then, some old leftover files of DaC or something.
The best hope of getting it fixed is on TWCenter.
Then report it at the DaC page if its caused by DaC.
Development is still going on here, ask those modders. :)
Sieges need to be redone, fighting through the gate instead of the walls, much like how Gekokujo has done them. More open sieges are more fun, the vanilla warband sieges are really a pain to even consider of doing, attacking a whole city with a ladder.
Where is the walls? :P
No, this mod is not doing anything for vanilla M2TW+Kingdoms.
Also, the development stopped, though on TWCenter submods are still continueing the mod's development and keeping it very alive. :)
Damn... Well all i can suggest now then is to search or post here: Twcenter.net(Reports)-amp-Technical-Help
The people on TWCenter are always helpfull. :)
You need to change the extension of the first file from whatever it is to a .exe file, which is easy to so, simply rename the file and only change the last part from whatever it is to .exe
Then i suppose its a corrupted download or something... If everything really went the right way you wouldn't be crashing. Just try a reinstall, or redownload just in case its corrupted.
Few things to check:
1. Do you have the Kingdoms expansion installed?
2. Did you download 3.0 part 1, 3.0 part 2, and the 3.2 patch in this order, and did you install them in the same order?
3. Did you install them to your main Medieval II Total War folder?
4. Do you have steam, or the retail version of the game?
How do you mean it doesnt have the same setup?
If you have a decent virus scanner and firewall virusses are no threat to your pc.
3.2 has all the stuff from 3.1, so no it's not needed.
The zoom limit should be the same as in vanilla M2TW. It's just the map itself that is bigger.
Make sure you have medieval 2 with the kingdoms expansion patched up to 1.5. Also make sure if the Third_Age_3 folder is in the medieval 2 mods folder.
What do you mean by that?
The main mod has stopped development. But there is still alot of stuff going on in the submod section on TWCenter, where TATW is still being developed actively. Twcenter.net
Just change whatever file type they are to .exe, if you have W7 it should be easy, simply edit the name of the file.
Check if the installers are .exe files.
