I don't see how it can be dumbed down more since basicly all you have to do is here on this page just above video section.
The solution should be here.
Lol that means that you installed TATW 2.0 which is an older version of the mod that indeed had the white UI bug back then.
Download 3.0 both parts and then 3.1 and 3.2.
Go to your Third Age Data folder and delete the descr_geography_new files, then it shouldn't crash anymore.
Not bad. But i hope that even this is still W.I.P. :P
Did the mapper rework it because i said it to him ingame? ^^
The devs of the mod only have Mod DB for showcasing the mod and for a download link. Go to TWCenter to report issues.
Yes it does.
Hey, whenever i load up some of the maps, the game basicly crashes.
Unless you know how to mod it properly it's a no.
Maybe this could help you. Twcenter.net
I think you will need to look for submods, because it doesn't look like there will be any patch soon.
I recommend MOS (Massive Overhaul Submod) and Dac (Divide and Conquer - not yet released but soon will be).
You can get more here.
Those 2 villages might be limited to village level. If it is then it is for lore reasons. Since pretty much almost noone lives up there. As the dwarves its better to move into rhun and the misty mountains.
No. Otherwise it would have been made for Shogun 2 already.
Yo you gotta go onto twcenter more often before replying to a comment. :p
Its a simple fix. Go to Third_Age_3/data/world/maps/base and there delete the map.rwm file.
Delete the descr_geography_new files in you third age data folder.
Noone knows.. But at if you ever get bored of the vanilla TATW then you should check out its submods: Twcenter.net
You can basicly say that the current progress on TATW is in its submods.
Rome 2 is not worth mentioning compared to TATW.
Delete the map.rwm file in "Third_Age_3/Data/world/maps/base'.
Also a strange but 90% certain working fix is to turn off the automatic daylight savings on you desktop clock.
You can't really do anything about that i'm affraid, although i don't experience this really, turn times for me take like 15 seconds at most.
But yeah it's just the downside of the old game. Medieval 2 can only use 1 core of your cpu, so if it laggs or stuff takes a long time to load, that is the reason.
Maybe if CA stops being stupid with their DLC's and stuff..
Hey, np man. Modding on a scale of TATW has been impossible since empire came out. The new engine was simply too hardcoded. Even with shogun2s modding tools its still not possible. The main restrictions being that its impossible to change the campaign map and adding custom models and animations.
Are you sure that launcher.exe isnt there?
Yes it is possible if you know how to mod it, but i must say that i have no idea on how to do it.
Although people on TWCenter know how to:
The maps are not meant to be in custom battle. Play the campaign if you want to see them all.
Please read the installation instructions...
Let's just say, that it is not even close to possible, even if they would make modding tools like the ones in Shogun 2.
For real man, Medieval 2 Total War was the last TW game good for modding on this scale.
Yeah good luck with that...
Redownload part 2.
