Phew, sorry for the silence, had a few busy months. I have made some progress on fixing several weird things, improving gameplaye and squishing some bugs. Working on debugging and rebalancing missions right now.
Just to avoid possible confusion in comments section. This mod is alive again.
Oh yeah, this thing. Let's make two versions of this ship, one with drones only (hero ship or something like that) and other with energy weapons plus some small amount of drones (generic ship). I can add this with the next version of the mod.

Battlefield Terrain - Statue of The Emperor - Holy ruins are difficult terrain. Models in such holy ruins receive 2+ invulnerable save, regardless of whether or not they are 25% obscured. Any unit attempting to charge a unit in control of this object subtracts 10 from its charge range (to minimum of death). Unit in control may use its full ballistic skill when taking overwatch shots.
Any unit without Forces of Imperium receives 2D6 S10 AP1 automatic hits and uses rules for standard ruins terrain.
Nope, that can be only done by modifying mission's script.

It is quite easy to move ships from one Nexus mod to another Nexus mod but adding new ships is quite more complicated.
Well, you can use our models as reference base, that would be no problem. We are mostly using BFG rulebooks, arts that can be found on the internet and models for tabletop to model our ships.
Unfortunately, there might be no textures for Ori Cruiser any time soon. I have an early WIP Ori Fighter model still on my disc, so I might add at least that into the next small update.
There might be video guide one day but I can give you directions for now:
1/ Go to your Steam folder (commonly C:\Program Files (x86)) and then open \SteamApps\common\Nexus The Jupiter Incident
2/ Copy the Stargate Mod War Begins Beta 8 folder into your mods folder.
3/ Copy the Nexus Skirmisher folder to your skirmisher/mods/Nexus Skirmisher folder and overwrite if prompted
4/ Copy the nexus_stargate.dat to your Nexus - The Jupiter Incident folder
5/ Have fun!

As long as you give proper credits, there is no objection against such thing. ;)
Go to - mods\Stargate Mod War Begins Beta v11\universe\tactics\tacticstypes.ini
Look for SHIPTYPE 34 "Ancient_Battleship" and add #Frigate_E to the line with #Drones2. You should be able to add up to 3 energy weapons without an error message.
Use "Mod to MP.bat" inside the folder with the mod. Modification then starts with multiplayer options.
Looks nice. However, we do not interiors for this mod.
Sure, ships capable of carrying missiles are:
- BC-303 & BC-304
- Hebridan Support Ship
- Langaran Battcruiser
It is just handful of ships but other races/alliances have their own utility/specific weapons. For example, Asgard Science Vessel can easily take out any non-shield device with its Molecular Destabilizator (long charge time).
Just something small to remind you that we are still alive and working on this. Missiles are going to be greatly rebalanced and changed for the next release to make them more useful with some utility.
We have done some progress but there is nothing big to show off yet.
Only handful of people remains working on the mod, so progress is kind of slow right now. Don’t worry though, if everything goes right, we will release the next version with a lot of new things and gameplay changes this year.
