Former Secretary of Defense, serving under Presidents John F. Kennedy and Lyndon B. Johnson from 1961 to 1968. Former President of Ford Motor Company. Hunter of communists.
Now returning to the dead.
They're an indie dev now, I doubt they'll do anything more with the mod unless they try to go retail with it.
There isn't much the devs can do about that. You need to post those demos on the forums of whatever server you were playing on and contact the admins.
This looks really excellent.
What the hell is wrong with his hand? He looks like a cross between a ******* Lego Man and a wrench. Also, what's the difference between 19% 'real looking' and '80% real looking', other than 61%.
There's some funny comments about BMS on the new Podcast17. William thought the mod is probably just a "cluster-**** of content" due to the number of times its gone through leadership changes and team members.
Rest in pieces, losers.
Hey, Look! It died again. What a surprise.
I'm sure the ugly re-skins and "borrowed" music doesn't help either.
Ha! They didn't even bother to remove the watermark from the promotional site they ripped it from.
It's another Knights of the Farce.
Jesus, those are some ugly *** maps.
Every time someone asks for a release date, the game gets pushed back another fiscal quarter. It's due out sometime after 2075 now.
The real point is, this mod was heavily hyped and one of the most anticipated l4d mods in development and it came out being garbage. There are soooo many other mods made in less time, with nearly no publicity, and came out in a much better state than DBD in their first release. Also, The devs didn't get hundreds of dollars in donations out of them.
The only irrationality I can see is why they decided to release such an obviously unfinished and broken mod instead of just admitting that their release date was unrealistic and pushing it back. Maybe they felt like they owed something to the community for buying them a brand new computer, but couldn't they at least take a step back and realized that this isn't the best way to repay such generosity?
It crashes way too much and it was generally just over hyped. There are many other mods that did not get nearly as much attention as this one and had much, much better beta releases. See mods like Detour ahead, RE: RPD, Heaven Can Wait, Night Terror, Back to School, Dam it, ect.
I guess they must have spent all that time making custom content to hide how lame the mod was.
This was very disappointing, they just should have delayed the release.
It's dead and buried. Note the archived message on the top of the page.
Dead less than a month after it was announced. That must be some sort of record.
No images at all and one video with nothing in it . . . Looking nice indeed.
You eat my *******, yes?
Ugh. This mod is on its 3rd revive. They should have left it dead.
The team must have given up and stopped working when they realized how crappy the mod was.
I like how they didn't even try to come up with an original name. It might as well be called Generic Zombie mod: Source. I do have to say that I liked the long, empty hallways and half-finished cities. Those environments make for great maps.
So when will the next season be starting?
It might as well be dead, It's a pretty mediocre mod in its current state.
1st poster seems like a phenomenal idiot.
*Bzzt* Wrong. Try again, *******.
It's too bad, I would have liked to see how a traditional survival horror game would have worked out on the source engine.
