Shame this died. Would have loved to have played this. There was never really a Star Trek game that "did it for me" like this one promised to.

This was probably the coolest star wars mod i've seen with the most potential. It is such a shame to see it wither away.

I agree. It should be revived! I waited from the beginning in anticipation, yet, it was unable to reach its full potential. The new crytek engine is out, maybe it could be ported, I do not know. All I know is this is the one mod I waited for to come out, and the reason I came to moddb.

I've never been so taken aback by the shocking amount of accurate detail in this screenshot... I almost thought it was a rip, but upon closer inspection I think you have an insanely talented team!

Yes, I believe that's correct. As far as 'random', there is no true randomness. Complex patterns that we can't recognize right off the bat fool us into thinking they are random when in fact they're not. For instance to get one value we could see it may be half of the previous, but for another pair, one could be say... the square root of the previous times the day of the week from the system clock. We wouldn't realize it at first, but with careful consideration and a few calculations we'd arrive at the same conclusion. In short: I agree with you Crispy ^^

This mod is so great, why isn't there more activity for it?! I just don't get it... BF2 is great and all BUT <rants!>

If there are there won't be more than 10 at the very most... more like 4. I never managed to get in because the stupid way that BF1942 likes to manage its Internet games... that was also when I had Norton Internet Security '06 so, lol, !avast doesn't lag as much as it does. Norton does an average @ lag on total system if you have it running, just letting anyone here know ;) and !avast is free, then there's also Avira which is just as good...

Honestly can you people not do a google search -_-x if you want something bad enough you must LOOK HARD for it, good stuff isn't always easy to find no matter how great it may be; in this case age is the detrimental effect.

There is bot support ;) You must do a gigantic Google search to find it though ;) OR you can just go to this URL and look about half-way down the page: There's the Galactic Conquest Extended as well as a few BOT patches ;)

There is a mod for it if you look hard enough that DOES add bot support. I found it at fileshack.com and I don't know if its still there, if not and enough people message me about it I can see if its still on my hard drive and put it on Rapidshare. The bots aren't half bad.

yeah I have to admit, I was real excited about getting the game but noticed that it demands a bit more than most games of this time, which to me shows that the market is going forward that that my cp might just have to get kicked up to 4 gigs of ram and maybe an updated CPU in the future.

My x600 pro ati all in wonder handles pretty nicely.

No significant lag at all... but I have everything on medium, especially the shaders bec. they'll kill your framerate.

Haha, I actually didn't have my stuff to put on the class A uniform- nametag, rank, and the torches are too high I believe. Man I went strutting out to get the mail and watch my neighbors stare, lolz. ROTC's great, and, being a 5th year senior cuz the admin's @ school screwed up my schedule, I'll now have to be in Army JROTC 3 more semesters, hahahhaa....

I was going to develop a game of my own but as it is now, the motivation and reason to do so is lacking, but I'd be happy to learn, little experience with Hammer I have but smart is the nerd god. ><
