Sounds good, not every game needs realism, the point of it should be is the game balanced and fun to play, I was just saying if it was realism, everyone would want a tommy gun just because that .45 firing that fast... its not pretty for people on the recieving end.

Ok not to be that guy... but did you just say, realism and 3 good shotgun shots to take out a guy in the same sentence?

If it was realistic the first one would have dropped him, they don't have any armor, or I should say any armor that could stop a shotgun shell from going into them.

It would also make the thompson a one hit kill, but as you can imagine that would be abused rapidly.

After trying and not getting any help I just decided to eventually delete the mod and uninstall the game =/ It looks great and I love all things Warhammer but I felt like I wasted my time since it just doesn't work for me, and since there are no errors to work off of I can't find any way to try and fix it either...

Anyone having a similar problem?

I have tried using this with steam, using the special download provided in links on this page to add it to the drop down menu on the launcher, however when it starts it does nothing and instead gives an error similair to 'The game has experienced a fatal error and will now close.'

With no error codes or anything I have no idea what to look for to change. As a note this is a fresh install of Medieval 2 and the expansion Kingdoms, as well as Call of Warhammer being the only mod installed for it.

But will you be changing the names of the ranks to reflect the Wehrmacht and Waffen-SS ranks?

It comes down to Bethesda not knowing what Fallout Canon was, they just cherry picked things people liked in Fallout 1 and 2 to make it seem like they did, now Fallout 3 is a good game on its own merits but I think it should have been a spin off for several reasons:
(had to cut them out too long =/)

I think they nailed the atmosphere but it seems like they never played the other two Fallout's and just took ideas from them instead. Some things I do enjoy about Fallout 3 over the first two and thats gameplay, but not because the first two had poor gameplay, but because I never got in a situation like the VMS Valdez (Fallout 2) in Fallout 3, I wouldn't have to sit and fight a battle for an hour because I would have to wait for each of the 30 or so enemies to move and fail to hurt me because of power armor. Though Fallout 3 does do several things I find odd and don't like I have to admit even as a fan of the first 2, Fallout 3 is not abysmal or ****** to me, and it also gives a chance for the Fallout name to live on and since it brought many of the original team back to make New Vegas I think its a fair trade.

Normally I don't get too excited about mods that want to recreate an old classic in a new engine, mainly because it does have all heart but they don't have the technical know how to get it done, but seeing this I am impressed, its not AAA Quality but damned good for a hobbyist mod, and I really really want to see this succeed!

I wish I had more technical skills and know how but I would love to help even if it is as you said just beta/alpha testing I would be completely thrilled with that.

Hm there is another odd bug, I joined up with Duty and have progressed through the war against Freedom, yet when I captured Fredom's base, they sent a few patrols out to claim it so I didn't have to stay there, these same patrols suddenly vanished half way across the Garbage area, then after I walked out of the Freedom base, randomly 4 Squads of Freedom spawned in the garage, pushed me out and recaptured the base, since I have captured it again and Duty again declared ultimate victory over the radios but Freedom just keeps spawning more guys that keep retaking the base and Duty won't send any squads.

Been resolved, it was an odd bug where the Fishing hamlet never setup properly, and the Guide/Leader spawned in each other and then got stuck that way.

This lead to all the other NPC's clustering around them to guard them as they would if they were attacking a place, and so with the fishing hamlet out of commission the story couldn't progress.

I seem to be having a problem, in the Swamps I can't seem to dislodge the Renegades ever, they respawn rapidly and rush back into the places I had just cleared, not sending groups along paths so I can try and intercept them but just appearing there.

Also I have had to attack the machine yard about 5 times now, don't know why Clear Sky doesn't move an inch even after they say its time to take the fight to the enemies stronghold, they don't shift or move, and they also seem to like shooting at the ground in the fishing hamlet and they don't try to reinforce anything.

if they don't die off first, the one problem with Japan is they are so obsessed with work and less focused on having kids, which in a way is a good thing efficiency and technology skyrocket, but you are seeing less and less kids in comparison to adults in Japan to take up the slack. Also ya they are a small country on an island with limited resources and what they have done with said resources is very impressive.

Anyways, was wondering how everyone felt about the new Expansion for Dawn of War 2, been reluctent to get it with my DoW2 acting odd, so any feedback would be welcome

I will post something interesting, if you happen to have Dawn of War, you should check out the pro mods for it, they are designed to increase the competative Multiplayer and well its Warhammer after all

You can find the pro mod for each version of Dawn of War but Soulstorm is the most current build of it

Aren't they holding that the wrong way, always heard if you helpd the Mp40 by the clip you would crush it because the clips had very flimsy metal

What about Legion of the Damned, I thought they are actually dead but continue to serve Mankind by saving it in its most desperate times of need

Well I would say making it an Ogryn would be best, but if you were to keep it as a mutated guardsmen i would at least add more blemishes and sores, just texturel details like open wounds or such

by no means... they are even popular enough they are making a Sequel... a true game not a mod one that will be up for people to buy, way to go guys!

Come on, CRC I have been waiting forever ^.=.^ bah I know how hard it is to make a game so just try and hurry if you can, I know alot of people can't wait to play the hell out of this, no pun intended

Well lets see, unlike those other games there are no crosshairs in this, only one member of the team has a map and can really know where the team needs to go, the only game that has come close to the realism this game is doing is Red Orchestra and I guarantee people that play that are forced to work together to get anything done, you also have to remember they are trying to implement a Morale system into the game as well, all kinds of factors will go into making this game a far more team-based game then anything before it

However the Leopard 2A6 is the best tank developed to date, kind of hard to use another tank that isn't as widely used and isn't considered as good as the former, don't get me wrong Challenger is a great tank but the Leopard is just an amazing creation

Please let it be soon, this mod is the only reason I still have UT2004 installed
