Maybe something similar to the siren series when you use weaker items to attack a zombie. They go down, but for a short time, before they get up again...
The energy ball seems useless in a monster vs player server, so can it be adjusted so enemy npc when hit will be knocked back if they didn't die?
But im sure people would prefer ninja style fighting over your typical medieval style fighting (which is extremely slow)...
Maybe in the future you can have a list of classes to use from.
For example, your prime skills would have to be 1Handed, 2Handed, Duel-Wield, and MultiHand (switching from 1handed to 2handed/ a mixture of speed and power).
Hmm... I think the game speed is still a bit slow in this kind of sword play... I am thinking of a most Gunz style but more balanced in jumps and dodges...
Maybe forward running can have some kind of sprint mode with shift (or some other button). In sprinting, you stop running if you launch an attack.
If these comment seems odd, then its because im more used to samurai style sword play than these free style (open style?) ones...
Someone needs to make a mod based on Starcraft's Zergling round up map, as this game reminds me of it.
Maybe all npcs can die but respawn and the ai is set so when they take damage from a person, they run in the opposite direction.
