It depends on your OS, in Win7 it's something like:
- right click on game folder -> properties
- "Security" tab, then modify your user settings
I suppose this since the game needs to extract the library file when starting, and that won't be possible if you don't have write permission. Make sure that "ArxEoS.exe" inside the game folder inherits the write permission. Anyway, as solarsplace said, post the error message as I'm just guessing what the problem could be.

single pistol is already available, there's a key you can set in the options which allows you to switch from single pistol to double pistols. Double pistols are selected by default when you grab the second pistol somewhere in the map.
Hi, no, sadly the gamecode has been compiled for Windows only.
The game code has been compiled for Windows only ( I guess ), so you can't run this mod on a Mac.
I think that the version 6.0 has the vanilla game code of the Sikkmod, so if you can play it on your Mac it means that Sikkpin compiled his game code for the Mac too.

I'm glad you figured it out, btw take a look to the double pistols in the Perfected mod, that's a slightly enahnced version, also I implemented the third person anims ( but the code is a bit tricky ). The double pistols I made for the Perfected mod could run in vanilla Doom 3, I can help you with the files you need. If you'd like to use it in your mod just ask VGames for permission;)
Also remember to bind a key to the "Pistol Mode" in the options to toggle from double pistols to single pistol;)
You must have these .pk4 files in the "double_pistol" folder to run this mod: DentonDLL.pk4, Dentonmodv2final.pk4, zzDualPistols.pk4. Also, you should have the "script\" folder if you've downloaded my new script from d3w. I guess you didn't install it properly. Obviously this is for Doom 3 1.3.1.
You need my first version ( wich has the Denton's mod ) to use this.
You can find all info in the readme. Btw, you should download my new script too ( it fix a bug that occurs when you load a new map with double pistols as current weapon ), you will find it in my thread at d3w, Doom3world.org

Hey ppl, remember that you can choose the pistol use, after you pick up a second pistol somewhere in Mars :) Just bind a key to the "Pistol Mode" in the options and use it to toggle from single pistol to double pistols. The weapon use is handled in the original pistol slot ;)
You see, I switched the firing mode to semi-auto since it's more appropriate for pistols ;)

I'm working on the third ( and probably final ) version, the guns will be independent, you will be able to reload a gun and shoot the other one at the same time, also the firing mode will be enhanced ;)

Yeah, you could do that, but you have to modify the hierarchy of the joints, since i needed to modify the hierarchy for things like the brass eject.
