I know this is years late but I just wanted to say thank you! I have no ETA but because of the new modelling tools for Turok 2, I would like to eventually replace the player character as well.

FYI for those who just downloaded. The mod has been updated to include some new models and sound effects. The latest is Turok_2_Infiltration_GOLD.3.zip which is the "GOLD + EDITION".

No, it is not dead. I am just occupied with other obligations at the moment, such as working on Half-Life Absolute Zero which is gearing up for release.

I have been working on Yellow Shift in my spare time, and I do have plenty of WIP content I could show, but I want to polish some of it, and put it into a cohesive package to show off.

Yeah, I don't know what the hell I was thinking as a kid, I guess I thought it was a cool thing to point out, but its good for a laugh now I suppose.

I don't know if I would make a Discord server. Don't know if I have the time for that.

As for the mod's progression, I haven't really thought about it. Much lower I'd say, more like 5-10%. Which sounds dismal after so many years, but the project has radically changed and I rather unveil those changes once I have more to show.

Yeah, this project has been dead for years but I am confirming it now. Its a shame, but it was just two guys, and I wasn't very skilled. Perhaps someday I'll come back to day of defeat, but for now, fair well.

Hi, I don't think anyone is going to see this, but if you are, this group really isn't a thing anymore.

It started off as a bunch of us as random internet kids getting together to make Halo mods and a forum for modding, but it quickly fizzled out. Maybe less than a few weeks.

I never really had the heart to shut down the group, it just exists as as quirky little piece of history.

2. You will be glad to know that lots of extra NPCs were planned. Scientists with guns was one of them :)

Its an interesting take on the Doom style. As UrbaNEbula pointed out, I love that you added some context and reason to things.

Its totally fine to just port or recreate levels as closely as possible. But it truly is something special to re-imagine them with the features and technology of the game engine you're remaking it on.
