Nice one!
We can't afford it YET* ;-)
@jangalomph
Dont listen to Squiggers, that lil' bugger :P Its bumped properly, mate! It's just the matter of lightning.
Take a good look at this one: Img23.imageshack.us
Didn't change the normal map even in a slighest way. Just changed the angle under which I took the photo.
As you can see its ssssexy.
If everything goes well - it's a matter of few hours, mate! :)
Awsome to hear that mate! :) Thanks!
As for the CE3 - nope. Atm we're still using CE2 but we'll switch to CE3 as soon as possible. We'll let you guys know :)
Hey there,
Firstly, thanks for the feedback mate, appreciated!
As for your question: Yes, we're taking under consideration few certain publishers, however at this very moment we're focusing all of our energy upon creating an enjoyable tech-demo consisting of 2 to 3 kick-*** levels.
Having that done, we'll talk about publishers. Or even perhaps - they'll talk about us. :)
(Speaking about the levels: Be sure to check this place again soon enough, as we'll be putting some long promised envo shots.)
Thanks a bunch!
I'd say a 90 percentish "yes".
However, we're still waiting for the most important factors - the OFFICIAL (;-)) Crysis 2 and its tools!
Thanks!
Yes sir! Let me just tell you that we're actually using Google Maps' Street View for the ref shots; it gives us the ability to faithfully portrait the area, both from the level design and modelling&texturing angle.
(Of course we need to make the level and models to look a bit more 80's, but it still looks awsome)
So if you do like that kind of architecture, you should be satisfied! :)
Hey arieas,
The level is under heavy WiP at the time being. We're pumping new objects on daily basis. I'd say in about two weeks, we will be able to show pics of few nicely looking 'districs'. Atm tho, it's a bit too soon! :)
Thanks!
Impressive portfolio you've got here mate! :-)
Hey navn, mate!
Sorry, but I didn't notice your comment before, just now :)
Speaking of my mail-box - donkluseczka@gmail.com must be working, I use it everyday.
But you know what, it would be best if you could visit our forums and post your application there
Alright? If anything, just PM me!
PS: I've seen your gallery here, on ModDB - some good stuff you've got there ;)
I think it's the perspective that makes him so short
Soon enough figalot; look at our models - do they look polished to the max? Yeah? That's right! :)
And we want to do the same thing with our levels.
There's no sense in showing a WiP, where few things are just gray blocks [these are props for the proper buildings/elements] or where models are untextured etc - that will give you no idea of the stage at all.
Instead, we do this like this: you'll have to wait a little big longer, but after seeing the footage of the level, even without yet playing it, you will actually feel the atmosphere.
Deal? :) Stay tuned!
Thanks for feedback mate!
Digital distribution - thumb up; which platform precisely? Time will show!
There are few major players on the market; Steam, D2D, Impulse or the upcoming Desura [which, by my opinion, rises to be an awesome user-friendly platform]
Now it's the matter of costs, popularity of each site and other factors like ability to create a community around the project at the site, and so.
Anyway, I'm sure that you will be satisfied! ;)
Give us some time Cahir!
These are just appetizers! The main dish is still in the kitchen, sir. :)
But we're doing our best to serve it as soon as possible. You wont regret the waiting!
(Thanks for your feedback.)
Wha? Where? I can't see it :O
(edited ;P)
Nope, it stays the same! Q3/Q4 of this or Q1 or the next year, at very best! :)
Although we'll be reaching a certain milestone soon - it should give us a more detailed picture of how long the Dev process will take...
...You'll find all the goodies in the upcoming update... so stay sharp! :)
@ RKotern: Witam ;-) Dzieki!
@ Slugear: aye, look how cool we are =o :)
@ thunderising @ jjawinte: thanks lads! :)
Hey Metalspy!
Which browser are you using? Is it Firefox? If yes, then I've got to agree with you, something isn't right.
Works perfect with Chrome tho.
Most probably this is the ModDB's "fault", I think this will get back to normal in a while.
~Don
Aye, now that's Ireland!... (says a Pole)
Hey Un_Dead,
About your first question: Yes, we're planning to put an accent on every aspect of the war; civilians are as important as soldiers.
We're not following typical "soldats vs soldats" scheme (characteristic for Call of Duty or Medal of Honor series) - as, during the fight, there are always casualties on the both army and civilian sides; sometimes, losses on the 2nd side are even bigger. Good question.
But you know what, I think that our up-coming trailer and demo level will answer your question best... and that's everything I can say for the moment being!
And for the second question, I'll let Squiggers to answer you, as he knows that for 100%, ok? :)
Take care!
~Don
Just one more Game Watcher from reaching the magic 200 number!
Maybe it could be you? ;o:)
Hey there Mellar, thanks!
Worry not, the project is just fine; We're totally far from giving up. In fact, we're planning a little update soon, showing our progress so.. stay tuned! :)
Hey, don't give up.
Treat this thing as a lesson: A msg that says "Something needs to be redone, my friend. There is a reason that why we didn't make it into 100. Think about it."
Thank you for the kind words mate. Wish you best as well.
~Don
I'm afraid not, mate <_< Well, it's a shame but.. Gives us a lesson to work even more and harder, I think.
Hey, happy new year for you aswell, mate ;)
Well, i'm doing a bit of PR work for CSW now.
I've stopped modelling for a while, but I think I'll be heading back towards it soon.. we'll see. Anyway, thanks for kind words, dude ;)
So how's life? What you're up to atm?
Woh, nice mate. Congrats =)
