This is a upcoming project on Kickstarter I think has a lot of potential. It's a metroidvania style games with really sleek hand-drawn graphics. I'm a big fan of this style of gaming and have high hopes for it myself. Its due out in Jan. '13 so still a ways to go. You can get a copy of the game for a minimum pledge of $10 with more options if you've got money to burn or just feeling extra generous. Have a look and see for yourself. There's a video with gameplay at the link below, along with everything else you need to know.

The artwork is gorgeous.
I certainly like Kickstarter being used for projects like this - where they already have a half-done product, but need the funding to continue. A lot better than just pitching "ideas".
