You guys are awesome... if you ever run into funding problems start up a Kickstarter... this deserves to see the light... and I'm willing to throw money at it in order to make it happen.

You guys are incredibly fast. Shame good teams like this don't get hired by giants on the market to finance their projects... you often see so many great mods not make it cause of time/money issues... such a waste.
Hopefully this time we get to play this mod.

Sweet update, keep up the good work. Ever since they took the license from Activision Star Trek has been dead for gamers. All the garbage after it was just that... garbage.

Same here... never really cared about Crysis but this mod will change everything.

WOW, this is great news! I bought Half-Life 2 on Steam a while ago just to try out the TCW mod. I was disappointed to read and hear (by e-mail) that the mod got cancelled and there was no chance for it to be picked up again unless some other team would continue it. Please don't forget to make backups this time!

I bet it will fail... like most modern games. Most sequels just didn't have "it" that the old games had. Example: Wolfenstein wasn't as nice to play as Return to Castle Wolfenstein, Mafia 2 didn't have the same feeling as the old Mafia, etc.

Still can't wait for it though. I was a huge Duke3D fan back in the day when I was a little kid. Just drop those green creatures that pop from eggs and eat your whole computer screen they always scared me (still have not overcome that) :(

Mod does not appear on my steam list and nothing happens when using the shortcut. Steam opens and nothing.

The mod is great, unfortunately hardly any people play it these days. Always when I check the servers there are 0 people playing.

Also would have been nice to add the Enterprise uniforms? You know, from Cap'n Archer! You might be shocked but some people actually loved that series! :P

I'm not sure if they are still working on this mod, their forum is really quiet. I hope they do cause it's always nice to get mods like these. I've played the teaser and act one and it was pretty nice.

Good luck, I have been waiting for a new Trekkie game for a while - especially an FPS. Elite Force was always my favorite.

Is it possible (and easy) to make an easy mission, like spawn some enemies on the ship that you have to eliminate before they "destroy Enterprise"?

Tried the Proof of Concept demo... what a shame to let such a great mod die. You have the entire ship done... an awesome menu... etc. All that's left is to make a few missions so you can actually do something... and they stop. Such a shame. Makes you wonder why mods like these all come for free, which is the main reason they die because people do this in their free time and don't get anything in return in terms of money. Most games are made on an engine from another game... they should just release this for a certain fee, I'd have no problem with it. Beautiful mod, shame it had to die.
