love the ending LOL! :D
pre-ordering this was some of the best money i've spent.
all extremely awesome updates! love it.
haha yeah, it was like... here, weapons *shtick, tick tick tick* and some more *Shtick, tick tick tick*
It really doesn't cost much to pre-order the game.
Brilliant music, I love the feeling I get from it and imagining what would come from a level that included it.
Best deal ever, I bought mine last night. Spent $10 USD.
One would call it performance arts, which is pretty much what this game was.
same, that was a great investment.
That was excellent. heh I love that there was a Doom poster in a Source game. :)
no offence, but I think you need to tone down the splash effect a bit, it looks awesome, but its a bit over the top with how furious the splash is.
The lighting work however is amazing.
The blade trap is awesome, really good stuff. I was a bit vexed on how you aim with the crossbow though
Im liking how well the model kept with the original concept. Brilliant work lads.
Without a doubt IOTY. Voted immediately.
Thats the Marine model. For this I am sure.
clearly it was Europe that inspired me... ahah nah, $40 for both games is a wicked deal.
Just purchased now. +$40 for you guys :D
That sounds rather condescending, I know a lot of mods I’d shell out $50 for; and Indie games for that matter.
I think you guys should feel grateful that Valve are actually delivering a Sequel on time; so why whine about it? are you shocked or something? When it comes down to it buy it or not, but don't rain on Valves parade just because you have a grudge on them working a sucessful niche market. Its a rather simple concept.
Valve have already extended their arm for continued support of the original title and I believe them, hell they are still making minor updates to Half-Life 1 every now and again... nothing major, but updates all the same and if you can name me a company that devoted to titles past then i'd like to know who they are.
P3nGu1n123: It’s not a mod (technically) anymore; just how much do real developers show you during production on other games. I think it’s a bit pretentious to call the trailer rubbish, and further accuse them of pussy footing.
The trailer shows many things (some of which has been show before, just not on MODDB)
- its lighting system
- particle effects
- reacting environment
- and possible excellent quality of character animation.
Guys seriously if one more person says "dead" again im going to just go off my block... the project is in full swing, and is slowly but surely reaching completion, just don't expect it until nearly the end of year. Or as I usually joke December 31st at 21:59. The recent website failure had nothing todo with the project other than its forum and main page being taken down for a short amount of time until it was repaired (and if im correct still is in repair)
a hexagon maybe? or circle?
Those are some pretty damn nice lightmaps... kudos sirs, this is looking amazing.
Wrekend your computer isn't medium weak, its 1998 weak. You'll definately need to save your pennies to get a new (good) rig.
You know i've been following this mod (and been apart of the Black Mesa community) since the Leak Free days, and while I know this project is in full stride, its so hard to wait between updates.
