hi jax. Work is still being done on the game, although not much on the code, most of the work being done is artwork, which is a bit behind on schedule. But we are still working on that game. Of that I can assure you. The problem was that the designer has a speed bump on her schedule and things got a bit slower, since most of what's still lacking is art on the game. Regards

Hi Woodoochild,
Thanks for your feedback, Shopkeepers get their stock renewed after some time. I have to double check it but I was under the impression that what we sell after closing the shop disappears, well actually it was like that originally, then some players complained and I think I changed it without thinking that it would fill the spaces pretty quickly, so right now the only option is to go back at that shopkeeper after some time,

Hi. We have the DRM free version on desura when you buy. Some people prefer to have the installer and make a backup instead of using Desura. You can either use it via desura or just use the standalone installer :)

Thanks for letting me know. Yes, it appears the crash is kind of random. Might have something to do with some component in the game getting corrupted after a long time playing. I have to track this down, it's just being hard to reproduce :P
Anyaway a new update should be up in a few days so two things might happen, it can be more stable or less stable on that problem. Less stable has the advantage, it will probably mean we can catch the pattern to make it crash sooner :)

Sorry for the delay. You are the second person to report that crash.
I've fixed one of the errors, but there's still something that occurs occasionally that ends up crashing it. I'm still trying to reproduce the error in order to debug and fix it.
Does it happen to you every time? If you could tell me the steps that make this happen every-time it would be great :)
Maybe the next update will be a bit more stable but I know there is still some weird exception happening.

Unfortunately right now there isn't a way to change shortcuts.
I'll be honest, I've never even had heard about that keyboard layout until now.
I'll investigate a way to change key-bindings for a next update (probably not the next one).

Yes, there are others. P to pickup items, arrow keys/wads for movement. I for inventory, C for character, J for Journal, Q for quests, +/- for minimap zoom.
One of the features in our roadmap is to include a tutorial in game with all of this for anyone to check at anytime. I'm sorry for the trouble.
The game is only partial playable with keyboard. There are a few things that are still impossible withouth the mouse, like shopping, Inventory management, etc. if we find a workaround for keyboard too we will do it.

Can't say an exact day but we are getting closer. This new one will bring and Easy and Hard mode, a fully new floor, and a couple of other things so it is taking us a little longer.

No, each character is binded to a single game. When you start a new game, you start from scratch.

I'm glad you are having fun with the game :)

1 - Well right now what we call secret rooms are the rooms closed behind doors with enigmas. We wanted to make something a bit different. but more on that as we keep updating the game.
2 - An option to choose the level difficulty at the beginning it's something we've talked about but no confirmations on that;
3 - Boss creatures: no comments on that for now;
4 - For now, the stones are the only way to unlock doors, but we'll consider your suggestion;
5- You don't automatically gain them. Right now you have to find them in the dungeon, and it's up to you to learn them or not. Each class is given one (always same) skill at start only.
6- 3 classes planned for now. We will try to keep the spells count high enough to provide some sort of different experience each time you play, the idea is that if you play time enough eventually you'll find them all, but if your doing like a speed run you'll probably need a couple of plays to see them all.
7- As for sound effects, visual effects, animations, music, some menus, among other little things, it's a work in progress.

1 - We haven't quite decided the final level and floors count. Again because I don't want to promise anything we might end up removing.

2- Are you referring to something as Diablo 3 has perhaps? The share stash chest? If so, there's isn't anything like that planned.

3- No DRM. Even if we end up having our game in some sort of DRM-bounded service, like Steam, we will always provide a DRM free installation. Right now on Desura we have the standalone installers. You buy the game, it's yours to install whenever you want, wherever you want, even if 10 years from now (that would be great :) )

Please do notice that the demo is an early look at the game and some of the issues on that build may have been fixed on the latest build (paid)

As far as skills go, we've been toying around with upgrading/purchasing instead of just finding them but so far nothing conclusive. If we end up doing it, it will always be a hybrid of the books and upgrading. I'm being a bit vague about this on purpose because I don't want to give false hopes about something that we might end up removing.

Most things in the game have went trough several iterations, initially the skill system was pretty basic, each skill would earn you a locked skill, but that felt a bit off from the whole game.

As for combat we have at least two new mechanics (not skill related) to implement, but again, I rather reveal them once we're comfortable with them.

Sorry if this doesn't answer your questions but bottom line is, we're trying to improve what we can, and if we feel like something adds up to the game (and we can actually do it), we'll do it
