dissonance (tm), as seen on tv, mapcore and interlopers.
A shooter, for the most part.
I see the toxic waste barrel!
Do I win something?
Add some hard edges on the back of the receiver and around the trigger guard.
You got it working! Awesome!
Looks grand, too =D
I wonder who keeps downvoting my comments.
Have you considered making the handle out of an antler? That'd be a unique opportunity to get some crazy shaders.
As much as I hate the weapon itself, this is a damned good model.
Can't wait to see it textured!
PS: the lack of smoothing on the bolt handle makes me go D=<
Hehe, neither can I.
A combination of simple extrusion and beveling.
You're welcome =D
Don't give too much away now...
Uploading now =D
Actually, I haven't heard that before.
I =( at lack of trigger discipline.
Other than that, looks damned good.
Exported to some poor Nazi's face, heh.
I can just hear the plink!
Haha, that video is how a /lot/ of people got introduced to this mod. Best/worst part is that it was something I never really intended to release.
Gameplay? Somewhere between Call of Chluthlu and Insurgency, if you can imagine that. Oh and with a little of Clive Barker's 'Undying' thrown in to **** with your head. And perhaps to the 28 Days Later soundtrack or something by Clint Mansell, depending on weather or not US copyright law changes (again, sigh) before this is released.
Just wait =D
Incredibly good work, as usual.
Holy ****, this is ******* amazing.
One critique, though; the rotated texture on the wall by the staircase looks off. Maybe leave the texture unrotated and use a decal or overlay to add the water damage at the top?
Just wait until I get some birds and whatnot in there =D
Too early to say.
Reminds me of that one scene from Cloverfield, but without all the suck.
diggin the clean/crisp look!
try turning the bloom off (or WAY down) and applying some film grain
Sure is; AK5c.
i realize you've already gone to the trouble of modeling a knife, but it was taken out for a pretty good reason; i'd hate to see you put this much work into something that the community's going to be crying to have you remove in a few months =/
In principle, there's nothing really wrong to have multiple dependencies on other games/mods from a programming standpoint, except to say that relying on so many different things that you don't have control over can get muddled if those assets should be changed/updated, or removed entirely. Aside from that...
@OP go to iceland or hawaii and watch the coast for a little bit
They're either x-blocs, accropodes, or dolos: En.wikipedia.org En.wikipedia.org En.wikipedia.org
Whatever the name, they're artificial breakwaters.
It's supposed to be metal, but I know what you mean. I'm going from reference here, so it's no entirely up to me.
I love iiiiit!
...how was I the first one to post this?
You're new here, aren't you?
It's not a matter of whether or not the engine can handle it, it's a matter of having six, eight or even ten or twelve items that do the exact same thing, but with a different models.
Frankly, I'd rather play a mod with three well balanced, unique and useful weapons than one with 30.
Looks amazing, but the ceiling's a bit blocky, no?
How is no HUD a downside? You don't need a HUD.
Holy ****, this is awesome.
Ooo, I like.
It's not that it's too thick, distance haze can be fairly heavy, it's that it's the wrong color.
I can see what you're trying to do, though, and I like it.
Don't you think an AA12 is gonna be a little overpowered?
I wonder what "advanced" weapons are.
Thanks for watching Everything Dies; I greatly appreciate it!
Lookin' damned good so far, man. Keep up the good work; can't wait to see this map when its done!
Exactly the intended effect.
Good to know it worked =D
Thanks for watching Everything Dies, sir! I appreciate it.
