dissonance (tm), as seen on tv, mapcore and interlopers.
Looks amazing, but the ceiling's a bit blocky, no?
I've been in Boston for the past week. =P
Good lord, doesn't mapping in all white hurt your eyes?
You're supposed to aim at the CENTER of the target =P
Looks good, though!
Vous etes cense viser le CENTRE de la cible =P
Mais il semble bon!
(je suis desole si mon francais est mauvais)
Why is the blade semi-translucent?
How is no HUD a downside? You don't need a HUD.
This is simply ******* beautiful, dude. High five, very well done. VERY well done.
I'm going to be amazed if you don't get a job out of this.
I'd never heard of that band until I google'd "Everything Dies" a month or two ago. Still haven't listened to the song; no real interest.
"Made a larger capture zone for for Obj. B including the bunkers. Increased capture time."
Noooo! I actually don't like this; capping bravo is the mark of a good team. After B, C is a walk in the park, but B is damned tough to get. If you're part of a team that can cap B, either you're on a damned good team, or the other team sucks.
Holy ****, this is awesome.
Try adding a phong exponent to the hand, perhaps?
See if you can decompile the Alyx model from EP2 and check out how they did her skin.
Also look into frensel shader effects.
If you're in the mood to learn, brush up on smoothing groups, and consider beveling the edges on the hood.
Also, you might consider learning nurbs modeling (or some other sort of spline or curve-based modeling) and then converting that to polies when you finish.
I'm even later replying to the comment, but be prepared for a little more in a bit.
Oh, and thank you.
Haha, it's coming along great.
A lot of broken legs =D
The railing by the staircase looks about four times as thick as it needs to be.
FYI it's spelled 'aye'
Awesome, dude, very well done. Amazing concept, glad to see you pulled it off so well.
And who's that on the guitar?
Can't wait for more!
I was just about to say that.
Holy ****, a Gamasutra interview... you're certainly moving up in the world.
I'm compressing the timeline from about a month into a few hours.
Yup, and covered up the transition with a white flash.
It's a lot easier to do it that way than with func_breakables.
Oh hell yeah, this looks awesome.
Ah, ModDB's processing seems to **** everything up.
Let's hope this one processes correctly.
Not playing on my end either.
x264/ogg/mkv used to work here. Odd.
I'll delete, reconvert and reupload. Hang on.
Holy ****, that looks spectacular. Very nicely done.
Oh ****, that's awesome.
