In Thailand we have a very similar monstercalled Kra-sue. But instead of entire upper torso, Kra-sue will only detached their head but still have all their entrails sticking along, they also hunt pregnant women.

To anyone that haven't bought it yet, here's a breakdown:

-Civ5 in space.
-More complete than Civ5 at launch as it has all the system from it's 2 expansion packs.
-No religions system however, not that you need anymore OP buff.
-Every city can build and send sattelite, be it tile buff sat, kill sat, scout sat depends on your tech.
-Early game Ideology, a revamped system from Civ5, you have to leveled it up via quest and tech.
-Quest, some simple 'choose a bonus' quest to a chain quest involving wreck your neighbor with spy.
-Secondary Goodie huts in a form of Ruined site. Your explorer can build an excavation site on them.
-Land, sea, air and covert ops battle from the start. Instead of barbarians you have flying alien too.
-******* Siege Worm, a distant cousins of Sandworm from Dune will wreck your explorer.

This really remind me of the City building sims of the last decades like Pharoah or Zeus that whenever we satisfy any specific needs of that household, their dwelling will be redecorated with small yet noticable items such as if they get food some fruit basket will appear on their roof. You might think details like this barely make impact on gameplay but trust me, it spare us from repetitive routine like, having to click and check what resource this building still needs before i can grow.

And to think that back in the days, everything weren't 3D and those guy have to draw tons of type for the same building... Man, gaming has come this far.

For anyone whose screenshot and video are not suffice enough to download this mod. The author ENTIRELY recreate the Spencer mansion from Resident evil1 on the edge of Morthal's swamp. From enemy types and placement to the puzzles and rooms are faithfully remains true to the game. All in all if you're a resident evil fan do yourself a favor and download this, you won't regret it.

C'mon you can't do this to us, what's the point of giving Tau gun ammo when you're gonna abruptly end the game like that? Seriously the mod is very well made, It leaving me wanted more of it, great action, subtly creepy atmosphere, quite brain tinkering puzzle. Also, i'm really enjoy the 'find key item' instead of having to always pressing button and turning valve to proceed. A very effective and nostalgic formula that reminds me of earlier adventure games like Resident Evil and such. All in all 9.8/10


Also really looking forward to the next chapter if you planned it of course.

-Make roads and paths worthwhile. For example, in the game Banished roads takes too long to make and they consume too much manpower and resource. And after it is done they didn't really make that much difference which is a let down.

-Don't make roads a requirement for anything but has some advance building absolutely need roads to operate, essentially turns roads into a kind of soft milestone, not needed in early game but a must in late game. Some city building game veteran might developed a form of obsessive compulsive when it comes to roads and walkway. Please use your game mechanic to remind us that we're just a group of survivor struggling to get by, not some Imhotep level architect designing his grand city.

-boardwalk and platform, bridges are simply not enough. I always imagine the land after the end time as very inhospitable, with very little room for conventional habitation. Toxic swamp and lake with mutated flora, Rocks twisted by radiation and heat decorate the side of bottomless valley and imagine the game force players to build on top of those thing. Also it's kinda romantic if you ask me :)
