Hahahah yes, you would be right! the titan docks do require a cliff or structure of sorts to lift it pretty high up.. we are doing something about it right now ^^ thanks for the input though! we appreciate it :D
Haahaha sorry for the delay guys, it's been a while! I've been really busy moving stuff from home back to America as university work's starting again, and the rest of the team is also busy with basically settling back into their work schedules and what not after summer break. And hahaha yup sure, we'll be releasing new material soon - sorry about the delay!

we do have double helipads ^^ but right now shooting infantry out is not yet available, as the mod sdk for cnc3 doesn't seem to have that. we're giving it our best shot haha~
Yup, right now 1 titan will be available to each player by default in Titan mode. However, we are still debating over the use of Titans in conquest mode, opinion is pretty split so we're still deciding ^_^
Hahahahahaha yeah man, we have a beta in testing now. PAC titan is still in progress, we are working on PAC infantry right now - which should be ready pretty soon. ^^

well, each infantry type would have around 2 or 3 (still deciding) "powers" that are basically representations of our unlockable gadgets from BF2142. you can probably expect the most popular unlocks for each infantry type to be available in CNC2142, like the med kit, motion mines, EMP grenades, smoke grenades, so on.. ^_^

- as of right now, the titan only spawns gunships and air transports, though limits will be placed to prevent aircraft base rape hahaha :P
- land vehicles will be constructed at war factories, air vehicles are generally made at the airfields, while infantry units will be traned at the barracks, so on.
- all the guns on the Titan work fine, 100% as the way they functioned in the original BF2142 :)
- yup, the hanger shield will be there. as for the body shield, it is only there for Titan mode and, of course, that would mean silos are available ;D the "silo theory" behind CNC2142's Titan mode is essentially the same, stand close to missile silos to capture them ^_^
- we are not going to talk about Titan assaults just yet :P

yeah, EA's cnc3 buildings have always been abit too small.. just look at the civilian cars and the buildings.. when do we ever really see cars go taller than the door? LOL XD
they are pre-made, but you can expect them to be able to perform things specific to their BF2142 counterparts, for examole.. Recon kit players often equipt themselves with gadgets like RDX and landmines, and the Assault class has their med kit and so many other things.. expect to be able to use these gadgets as secondary powers for these units through upgrades ;D
when you first train them from the barracks, they only come with standard heavy armour and the kits' standard issued weapon ^^

We spent some time to specially optimize the in-game map environment. As a result, maps in CNC2142 are much more raw, natural and high-detailed compared to the average CNC3 maps. ^^ When you play CNC2142 in-game, it gets even better!

we actually had a very, very small "friends & family" beta test back in December. the focus was to help us collect some performance data from different computers, so that we may optimize our models, textures and other performance-hogging technicalities properly :) check out our latest news article update if you want to know about the actual improvements!
it has definitely been some time indeed :D our team is usually quite busy between winter and summer breaks, but making CNC2142 is a dedication of ours and we don't want to release something half-baked. :p what do you think of it so far?

yupyup! our model had turrets but they were so small and right at the bottom left & right sides, it's almost impossible to see even in-game unless they're firing. Fixed now, check out the new shot :P thanks for reminding me! ^^
Yes, we have one hard-copy of the consent that EA main office sent us almost 3 years ago when the project first started. The representative did note that we could use any resources from BF2142 & BF2142:NS as long as we know now to find them ourselves - meaning we could really just extract things like models, textures, sound effects and so on as we like. However, we do not have access to the core BF2142 engine source codes, and never will because CNC3 uses an entirely different system. In fact, most of the 3D models, textures, animations and other fx effexts that you see now are created by the CNC2142 team ourselves.
As for your identity, as cool as it may be - I still see no effective reason as to why I should disclose such sensitive information to you.. and given today's economy, even I personally doubt if the representative is still in the same position, in the same office as he was when he gave us the consent 3 years ago. Sorry for the inconvenience.

yeah, we've been trying to keep it lower poly so lower-end computers can still run fine. we've recently made big adjustments to the Goliath IFV unit for the EU, it looks much much better now!
