So how likely is this to cause regular 'Out of memory' CTD's?
Textures look amazing though.
It would be neat if the inventories of npc's get cleaned every now and then with their RU increasing depending on the items that were removed, simulating them selling their redundant gear.
It happens way too often that when I'm escorting some guy and he ends up carrying 40+ rifles he's not using.
It does not alter artifact detectors, just the anomaly proximity beeping sound.
So far it's running extremely well, no graphical issues or major performance impact.
I really like how it brings out the details in textures that used to look a bit blurred or washed out, especially on the weapons in first-person.
How hard would it be to make the zombiefied stalkers use random stalker models? I never was a fan of the zombies looking like clones wearing different coats.
Any chance of a STCoP weapon pack version? AO has been causing a lot of crashes for me lately so I'm using STCoP for now.
Is this compatible with you Desolation mod? I would love to play in a more hostile world with less people around.
This is actually really good, I love reading stories like these.
For some reason my game keeps crashing after i got to Yanov en walked around for about ten minutes.
Loading savegames doesn't work either, it just crashes after a minute.
I have absolutely no idea why it is crashing, my pc can handle it on max settings with 70 fps and i haven't modded any files.
Any help would be appreciated, Misery has become unplayable for me.
I bet that thing has some serious negative effects, or at least is extremely radioactive.
Makes sense, but (Minor spoiler) the guys you have to protect while collecting the weird artifact in the train tunnel can get controlled, even though most of them are wearing gas masks.
I apologize, I forgot how long its been since the zone has been evacuated and closed off, civilian zombies wouldn't make much sense still wandering around.
I'm exited to hear there will be more mutants though, it will make things a lot more interesting.
One last question though, how come none of the zombified stalkers are wearing masks or helmets?
Will MISERY 2.0 feature civilian zombies and/or a bit more variety among mutants?
I've always liked unarmed zombies better than the shooting ones.
The vanilla mutants tend to get a bit boring after a while, mainly because they're not much of a threat as long as you keep moving.
Aside from the factions buildings, will the map buildings also be redone?
Tiberium spikes, civilian structures, defense towers, etc.
Yeah I kinda expected this already,
but still, new locations and interiors would have been nice.
I mean, there are so many buildings that would have been awesome to explore or spend the night in, and yet they are almost all inaccessible...
Maybe something to think about for Misery 3?
Will Misery 2 feature new locations?
I doubt there will be new maps but will existing maps include new interiors?
I quote from the Features page; "NPC's explore many new locations with many new smart terrains added to the system."
Does this mean NPC's will use new smart terrain to visit existing locations or new ones?
Make sure you are not carrying too much, are not tired or hungry, and don't forget to bring a couple energy drinks on a trip.
Also the weight upgrades for suits and the Goldfish artifact help A LOT.
Is there any chance of Absolute Nature 3 being implemented in Misery 2?
I'm using the Lite version on the Dead preset and it looks absolutely great, and the dead trees and dry grass fit Misery perfectly.
It would be great to add it as an optional in the installer.
I think its doable with vanilla animations.
The animation of an NPC falling down injured and getting back up right after should do the trick.
A loaded Protecta will do the trick.
Will other stalkers use this backpack aswell?
I mean, I love the idea, but seeing some other experienced stalkers using a similar looking backpack would be nice.
Especially since everyone in the zone is using the same backpack model in vanilla stalker.
F*ck that looks awesome.
Filefactory link is dead.
I hope those zombies are either really tough, or "hunt" in packs, lone slow zombies are usually rather easy to kill which might kill the creepy factor.
I hope it will be actually dangerous out there, not only for show.
It looks awesome.
Reminds me of The Shivering Isles, looks fantastic!
