Very nice concept, but that's all it feels like. If you get the heart of darkness, slap it on imbuing hen proceed to imbue the darkness repeatedly. End it by assigning the darkness to magic. The game is beatable in less than an hour.

It's normal for people to claim lofty goals for whatever game they are currently making, especially when they are given crap tons of money to do so. The public gets worked up and sales go though the roof, only for people to be exeedingly dissapointed in the project.

When looking at the alpha of kenshi versus what the final product hopes to be I am reminded in some ways the various pregame boastings of Peter Molyneux and the Fable series as well as Black and White 2. The difference here is that Kanshi alpha is already equal to Fable and B&W2 as far as promised content verus finished promised content. Good work is being done here or substantially less money. I just hope 2 weapon fighting is added so I can run around all miyamoto style!
