I started with the standard stuff, there are cooler things planned such as spider mechs + powered infantry suits, but their armament are conventional. No energy weapons planned. This was one of the ideas (a conventional spam army theme) I had for the Empire so its not too far off what the plan was.

When I put this model it kinda does look like a bradley. Guess I was just seeing things too.

Maybe, I never do headlights on my tank so it may be kinda strange. But agree that the back is rather plain.

I thought of a Bradley fighting vehicle when I thought of this unit concept, but it does have some resemblence to a Sherman.

Nothing story related, I was just thinking on haveing the spartan be a republic tank rather than an empire tank. The decision isn't final but I'm really considering it.

Yea there is still lots of things that needs to be done first, cleeanup testing etc. Also want to do some missions/ maps for release as well. Also trying to wait till next megaglest release as it has a few new features/ bug fixes that is nessiary for shadow organization. Ill be putting up a news post sometime soon when I'm more sure of a release plan :) thanks for all your support!

Yea they don't have as many unit options, but many units have multiple uses, so there is plenty of ways to use them :)

Yes one of the things I'm trying to put together are campaigns/missions Hopefully some Co-Op Missions as well (would be possible next MG release.

This unit is probably the unit I wanted to revive the most.
