This will be further down the road once core game is done. Would like to make a story about Kestrel, complete with cut scenes. This will take a considerable amount of time so I will have to hold on this for now.

Yea I can understand where you were coming from. However, one of the biggest drives for this was that as a mod I felt more or less limited to a community centered around the parent game. While Annex broke out of that somewhat being seen as standalone mod, It still felt overlooked due to it being a mod for a relatively unknown game, when compared to mods for Command and Conquer, StarCraft, etc, etc... I feel that many more would be interested to try Annex if its identifiable as an Indie game.

I apologize for such a drastic change so suddenly. I know the move sucks for now but once all the kinks are worked out I feel Annex would benefit a lot more after this.

Unfortunately, AI is not too customizable in Megaglest (the engine Annex is built on) and the AI will over produce units, however units it creates is random and inefficient, and many units not properly utilized so this is where the player has a big advantage.

Yep! Though a variation on the Aliance faction, so many of its units wil be similar to the Alliance, with some unique new units planned such as the commando and the ranger.

Never played COH but, many RTS/Mods have units like these.

They may also have an active ability too.

Defiantly have more badass units planned for this faction. Hopefully I will have a chance to model them this weekend!

I wanted her to have Armored boots so I game them the blocky boots. Is it like a texture issue or just a bad idea in general?

Thanks! Infantry wise, there is still only 3 (conscript, AT Rifle, and Buster Rocket) However, with the exception of the harvester and 1 Air unit, vehicles are mostly done, so there is progress :)

I think i got the cuteness out of my system now, so next infantry units will be more badass than cute!

Originally that was the idea, but it didn't work out in practice, as unit was far too overpowered, so I had to limit their effectiveness vs infantry. Now they are just under average vs infantry.
