Absolutely this is without-a-doubt one of the best mods I've ever played on any game and its the reason I've logged almost 500 hours into it in the last year on skirmish alone (only because I've got no friends but who cares I've got AI!)
I'm just saying, if i was Serin Osman. Or Parangosky and I knew about the flood I would arm the most likely ship to come into contact with them with the best weapon to remove them. Besides it got HAVOKs, probably Shivas, why not something with a bit more punch as a "Just in case scenario." probably could have made the Requiem campaign more interesting. Imagine a mission where you sneak a NOVA bomb onto Jul Mandama's ship! Though I guess that could backfire if he goes somewhere important like Sanghelios.
UNSC does have more than 1 NOVA bomb, I remember in one of the books (Ghosts of Onyx i think) Cortana sent a message to High Com asking them to NOVA bomb instillation 05 and High Charity to stop the flood.
I say they probably warrant NOVA bomb usage...as a matter of fact why didn't they just do that in Halo 3?
Could have been just as intense, anyway it stands to reason that Infinity would be equipped with them (being charged with exploration of deep space and discovering new worlds [maybe even new races] and the flood can't be totally eradicated...right?)
Well I imagine by level 10, you could probably reasonably up its power to near the cannon levels. Also does anyone ever wonder why the UNSC never added NOVA bombs to its compliment? Now wouldn't that make for a super ability!

All UNSC trans-atmospheric craft are named after swords
Short-sword space and planetary bombers
Long-sword Space and planetary fighters
Broadsword Heavy bombers
A small fleet of these can be very deadly to even super star destroyers if there is enough of them.
On a side note it wouldn't be impossible for the ship to have a summoning ability like Dark Fleet to spawn its ships. Would it?

Technically speaking though, B1s are crude but relatively effective at what they do.
I wonder if the UNSC will ever name a ship after Keyes, but then again they never named a ship after admiral Cole either (side note- if he could fit into the timeline that would be another good portrait)Also I just noticed he has a forerunner reclaimer symbol on his uniform and pipe!

The missions were incredibly difficult that's all I remember. I did beat the campaign once but it was the ultimate challenge and it was on easy.
A very good warship and a good place to start, hope its got some good engines because my ISDs and blastboats are going to chase them all over the galaxy.

I think that would be very interesting, I have never seen a true "Jet trooper" just units with the boba fett jetpack ability, if they permanently flew that would be awesome!
I do so much look forward to being able to play this someday. On a side note, I really like the customization for the ship's fighter compliments.
To be honest this will be amazing, trying to maneuver star destroyers in close space combat was next to impossible, this should free up more micro-managing time for me in combat.
I can see some sort of mash-up of the three main factions' starbases being used in the design, i can see parts from a black sun station (the fuel tanks) and parts that look like they were designed by the empire (the blocky bits at the bottom)looks cool.
