Abomination of desolation!
This game pushes SNES to it's limits!
My favorite is Sonic & Knuckles! And Knuckles is much better than Tails! At least to me, please no arguing! I always pick Knuckles!
Comix Zone! Short but brutal!
Sega Genesis gem!
Night Of The Living Dead in my ***.
Anthology Of Death in my ***.
Little Date in my ***. :|
Here's リトルデイト (ri-to-ru-de-i-to or Little Date) Youtube.com
It's a great country!
Ah flickering lightning and colored sectors! Doom 64's is like a glow, you can set it on floors, lower walls, middle walls and upper walls and ceilings (and actors) separately. And it's gradient, very nice looking and good for atmosphere.
Now GZDoom can't do this sadly. But I was just interested if Build can. EDuke32 at least...
Nope, ain't too dark (I was a lot darker, imagine a graveyard in the night with no lights anywhere but near the small chapel, it's nasty to play as well because of limited vision).
Now! This is really awesome! Great work man! Behind the fan is the horror, maybe the giant rock worm from Penumbra games, who knows!
How are things going mate? :D
Love that face? You drew it?
Can Build engine do Doom 64 style lightning?
Okay, will do!
I'm not much of a zombie fun though, it became a gaming cliche.
Hello there! :D
Okay there are lots of updates! I've given up on the last one because scripting was pure mess!
Now I really know what I wanna do. To be as Hexeny as possible!
That means no 3D floors, no OpenGL lightning, no slopes and all that fancy stuff.
However I do use sector coloring! I'm gonna try to bring up a demo soon!
It isn't really aiming to be graphically most outstanding, just fun to play and true to original Hexen.
I can overlay it! That layer must not be solid.
Standard texture is 64x128, when you raise the ceiling height the texture will repeat. Not exactly what I want, and I don't want to make a big texture with the graphics pasted below for the sole purpose of having a glowing sky.
I've seen a WAD that has multiple F_SKY flats. I'm trying to figure out how it does it by scanning the WAD's data files with these eyes of mine. :)
Brightmap overlay; OpenGL lightning and lens flare!
Thank you! Also I drew the street lamp sprites in Paint (working with bitmap images, goal is to not make it blurry) and made the lens effect in Photoshop. :3
I have one question. Will this work with HeXen too?
The Vandenberg gas station.
This is where that ambient track really kicked in.
"You are now beneath the nanotech lab."
I have to say that Deus Ex community is one of the best and funniest communities ever!
"Get PILLS against my orders!"
"What a shame!"
Oh my goodness! These women are beautiful!
I couldn't stop laughing at Underground!
Awesome! You can make textures with this thing though.
True story. It's same like this in theaters.
VHS ruled! You could skip to the point where you left off for example.
A lot of times he ruined the jokes.
Sorry for the late reply. That was the point, instead of just saying "Thanks for my new avatar."
Plus I like creepy stuff.
These are wendigos, one of the most feared enemies in HeXen. They shoot two deadly projectiles that burst into more projectiles and they have no pain state. So killing them fast is essential.
Cool! I won't be using it though. I don't surf the internets on phones.
I prefer the good old desktop.
That sneaky little spider!
Most people had trouble opening that sliding door on the right. I was one of 'em! But didn't took me long to figure out what to do.
This is a custom made sector based engine like Doom, has moving walls like HeXen and it supports 3D models.
What makes this game enjoyable is the way you get to kill your enemies, you can cut their limbs off! And boss fights are nice too.
Two bazooka guys here, right before the boss fight! Low on health because of level before it and that acid at the start, makes bazooka guys scarier. :3
