How can I tell? The models are awful, they've been posting hud alone for years (Aravin=D showed me this "project" a while ago, while laughing his *** off) they don't even have a game engine... they also claim to have made a nerve gear... LOL... anyone who believes these guys are legit need serious medical help, I showed this to a friend yesterday just to prove a point, and he said "FAAAAAKKKEEEE". My favorite part is how they use windows paint 2003 to edit pictures =D
It is not real, do you have any screenshots of the game engine in use? No you do not. Everyone probably left because they were showed no proof of concept of the engine in any sort of way, I guess you just really want to believe this is real, sadly it isn't.
A modeler has already left few ago (the one that made the first heathcliff) without giving his works, surelly for the same reason as Azuna (interface). If this project isn't "fake", the question isn't if the nerve gear will be made, it'll be for the team stability and motivation to finish the project, something on what we already talked about with akira and blackdragonstory.

But! If you simply wanted to make a cheap copy of the real thing then that's another story! A head set... mic etc... goes over your head... goggles with mini lcd screens... plugged into a small computer with a game controller... Infact alot of people could EASILY make that now, as for this so called team... they do not have such capabilities... as they're retarded lying kids.

It really all depends on the final verdict by the most important person...

They never said the nerve gear was finished, it's not even in development yet. If i remember well it is using cry engine.
