So it's on Episode 2 huh? Any pictures? Because I damn sure will know the difference between actual bloom and the shaders SMOD uses for bloom. I'll know if your lying or not.
Honestly. I feel sick as hell for leaking Tactical now. I wish I found "Unit648FirstEncounter.zip" In that FTP. Actually it should've been named "Worthlesspieceofshitnobodywillplayever.zip". And once again, thanks for the comment removal. Appreciate it.
To Onemanshow: I'm sorry I leaked your mod. Really. Really sorry now. :(
How so? They haven't done a damn thing to try and resolve this (Hit's okay though). I admit, I was very overzealous about my description of the mod (my first post about it, you can see it in OMS's quote). However, we have been trying to resolve it ourselves by leaving our comments here.
We told the entire story, something Vet nor Oneman would probably ever do. As a matter of fact they still haven't shown their self here. I guess they sent you as the messenger. The only thing that Vet has done is continue to insult us, (continuing from the forums FYI) in fact he's so pissy I wonder how much urine tests he's failed.
OneManShow's post was just a bunch useless jabbering that I don't even want to get into.
As far as Hit goes, I can't really blame him. Other than locking Skep's thread, he hasn't done anything drastic.
And Business, well, he's going to go back to playing his classic games. I don't blame him. If I was in his position that's what I would do too. :p
Ammo can be edited through the weapon scripts. It takes about 5 seconds to open it up, scroll down to where it is, and enter in another number for it (Example: 60 round limit, put in 60).
Sorry if I confused you for a .cfg, that's just me rambling things up.
SMOD Redux is an absolute far cry from creativity. An enhancement of SMOD is to be expected when you make your mod this moddable. Hell I'm suprised no one made a SMOD based on HL2:DM maps.
Effort-wise OneManShow actually did something! Holy crap! He re-rigged any CS model that wasn't meant to be used for Half-Life. And, well, he LOD'd a couple of models I think. that's about it.
Enjoyment wise it was pretty fun. But there's not much to say there.
To me, the best example of an SMOD Mod is CS:S Sci Fi.
Creativity-wise, someone bended the potential of CS:S maps by using the mapadd system that SMOD provided, while still managing to keep SMOD's standard gameplay. It's not perfect creativity-wise but it's still the best example out there.
Enjoyment-wise it's quite possibly the best custom SMOD mod I've seen. Ever. Enjoy 46 maps of awesomely balanced (and at the same time challenging. And I'm not talking cheap like SMOD Tactical) gameplay. I know I did.
Effort-wise he put a lot of work into this. Even offering a map of his own. The mapadds aren't at all funny-business (unlike Tactical. Just look at crookcounty), and the objectives were just as fun and innovative as ever.
Of course I still do have some gripes about the mod but in the end, it's still one of the best examples.
Edit: Crap I forgot moddb screwed up my reply. Anyway original comment V down there.
SMOD Tactical was a very creative idea that was made by Phatcat. To create CS:S weapon models and convert the use into a semi realistic enviorment.
Sure, they did some mapadds and the like but when it came down to it all they really did was make a .cfg and import CS:S weapon models into a folder where then they opened up the console and work on it from there. In turn they got a 9.1 on Moddb.
As far as enjoyment goes, I can't tell you how many times long range enemies ended up getting a shotgun due to NPC weapon randomizing (which was adjusted. GG). The average SMOD user probably couldn't find out how to fix this and I don't think it would be very enjoyable for them to keep getting sniped with a shotgun.
As far as Outbreak goes, it was the mad brainchild of Veteran_Gamer. Though everyone saw it coming, a zombie-based SMOD mod. It was non-creative, though that doesn't mean Vet didn't make an effort to make it non-cliche. :p
Outbreak's effort was somewhat-lulzy and mostly-good. The "dynamic shadows" were the lulz part. However, Vet still managed to maintain a mod that took at least an effort.
Enjoyment-wise, it was probably the easiest SMOD mod to ever be released. Nough said.
"I decided that i will no long put up with this BS from them. Working on SMOD: Tactical is no longer fun, it's no longer a hobby"
thing goes, SMOD Tactical died a year ago when the attitude of the administration got out of hand, and no one decided to do anything about it. After all that, the MAJORITY of SMOD Mods (not just Tactical, mind you) were no longer fun, and certainly no longer a hobby. Just a bunch of mindless stupidity that was basically shot out of the *******. :p
And until something else pops up, adieu. My business here, is done.
The Scarke?
Try this. Smod-t.darkbb.com
I swear to god, what were they smoking.
I love how you posted again in the next minute. Though you don't seem to understand that moddb has a edit function.
Does a doughnut with no holes?
****. This is almost completely Metroid Prime.
lol. Did you even ask him?
Knew Onemanshow**
I had him on my friends list for quite sometime. You can go ask him yourself.
Also, popularity doesn't equal ****, bub. 50 Cent was a popular rapper. Was he good? **** no. Basing a mod on popularity means ****.
Personally, yes, I DO know him.

I should talk to all of you. Y.O.U.H.A.V.E.N.'T.D.O.N.E.S.H.I.T.
Except for maybe, MAYBE editing gameinfo.txt to "Unit 648: First Encounter" Otherwise known as "Unit 69: Piece of ****"
I read the god damn news. Go sodomize yourself, sweetie.
Oh my god.

WHY DID I LEAK TACTICAL AND NOT THIS PIECE OF ****?
Honestly. I feel sick as hell for leaking Tactical now. I wish I found "Unit648FirstEncounter.zip" In that FTP. Actually it should've been named "Worthlesspieceofshitnobodywillplayever.zip". And once again, thanks for the comment removal. Appreciate it.

You feed me drugs.

Yeah. I've made a new forums site for SMOD T. Why? Don't ask me. I have no idea.
I can make a good chunk of custom weapons if you want.
It warms my heart to know how devoted the community of SMOD T actually was. ;D
There's a patch for that, y'know.
Bsnooch.com
At this point, +1'd.
And I found something else that seems funny.
"New sounds by -
DICE
Infinity Ward
Red Storm Entertainment
Tripwire Interactive"
I thought OneManShow said he removed BF2 sounds due to copyright reasons. :p
"The beta, nor the full release (would have) used any mapadd code from Fitzroy"
Yfrog.com
Yfrog.com
Awesome.
Happy told me he doesn't have anything against you, Hitperson. He was just on you for defending the forum shutdown, nothing else.

Feels good, man.
How's Sweden goin' for ya'?
Yes, skill.cfg

Sorry if I confused you for a .cfg, that's just me rambling things up.
Which can easily be configured with typing one number in a .cfg
Then again Onemanshow would probably list that as a "major change" in his changelog.
And to continue further, Lets move on to Redux.

Creativity, effort, and overall enjoyment.

And as far as the whole
